Something for everyone

Excellent site and location. Facilities and site are well kept,  clean,  neat and tidy, with a well stocked shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Interesting towns nearby - Brecon, Hay,  etc.,  and walks to suit all abilities. Particularly suited to my wife and myself. After visiting places and a few walks, my wife was happy to spend a morning in the van reading and enjoying the view while I was off on my mountain bike. The Brecon red route passes nearby. Not for the faint hearted, this 24 mile route starts canal-side, rises high above the Talybont reservoir,  and climaxes with The Gap and the challenging descent on a rocky stony trail back towards Brecon.

Homeward bound stop over

We stopped here at the beginning of August for two nights on our way home from Snowdonia. It is a very pleasant site, well situated but rather on noisy side from the main roads close by. The site is clean and well kept by very friendly and helpful wardens. There is a lovely pub within 10/15 minutes walk which serves delicious meals. We walked into Brecon along the canal which was very pleasant and took about 1.5 hours. The bus stop is right outside the site and the buses go to Abergaveny. As they go along the narrow country lanes it is not a journey we would recommend if you are of a nervous disposition. Overall a nice site to stay which has great views of the Brecon Beacons and surrounding countryside.

Nice site, with great walks.

Stayed in July, 3 nights, fairly busy, there seemed to be a push for serviced pitches which we didnt need in a motorhome, but we were told there was no other availability so paid the extra. This we found out was not true, so felt a bit stiched up. Apart From that a nice site but be prepared to cross a busy road to walk the canal, to brecon which is lovely, go the other way for amazing views. Good dog walk to the pub. Would go back but not on a service pitch as not needed and surrounded by Victor meldrews in their caravans, as they were too hot so had fans running on outside & complained about the music in the showers which being radio 2 was a nice touch. Really ??

Great Family Trip

Yer again another brilliant holiday in Brecon. The site is always immaculate and the facilities are clean and tidy. My family really enjoy our time at this site and would definitely recommend for a family or couple alike. Wardens are very helpful and friendly.

Lovely weekend away

First time on this site but it won't be the last, the showers were spotless and staff friendly. There were a lot of children on bikes and quite a few noisy dogs.Putting that to one side the walk to Brecon and the town itself was very nice.

Lovely site

Lovely site. Toilets and showers are spotless. They don't have electrical sockets to plug your own hair dryer in,but do have low power dryer's. Perfect location for anything around Brecon. Only a mile walk to town. No views from the pitches, but very flat and comfortable space between pitches. We didn't hear any traffic noise on pitch 134. Very nice dog walk and kids play field with swings, goal posts etc. Well stocked shop and very friendly helpful staff/wardens. Was full when we were there, but didn't feel too busy or noisy. During school holidays, there are a lot of children on bikes etc, so don't go to a family site and complain about children. There's an indoor play barn (jungle gym ) didn't use though as expensive at £5 a go. No fires allowed, but we're fine about bbqs as long as they were off the ground.

Beautiful Brecon

This is one of the best caravan club sites anywhere!! We stayed from 11th August, originally booked for nine nights but with great thanks to Phil and Deb (two of the wardens) and their outstanding customer service we managed to extend, our stay on serviced pitch 89, for a further six days over the Bank Holiday. The site is meticulously maintained and all the wardens work extremely hard to make this site a credit to themselves and the club and we would highly recommend this site.
