2nd visit
My wife and i returned for our second visit to this site. We cant express how lovely this site is. The wardens are superb, extreamly friendly and nothing is to much trouble. We would definately recomend a visit provided you leave a space for us.
We havent as yet found any club site that come close to this standard. Perhaps they should pay a vist to see how its done.
AMAZING
First time at this site and won't be our last. We had an amazing time. The site is beautifully set out and very clean and tidy. The lovely walk along both ways from site is lovely. 1 mile from town centre along canal or bus stop outside site. Wardens are very friendly and the bonus of a great shop on site. The dog walks on site very good, our 4 springers loved it Thanks for making our break a very happy one
We will be booking again soon
Idyllic
Stayed for 5 new nights, lovely site, very peaceful, shower block & laundry room immaculate-also the wardens are lovely, very helpful but also leave you alone to enjoy your holiday.
First class in every way, we took our 2 grandchildren & 2 dogs, great play area for kids and a super dog walk with a lovely stream for dogs to cool off in.
Fifteen min walk to a lovely pub, where food is cooked fresh.
Highly recommend this site. You won't be disappointed.
Beacons 10 min drive -just beautiful in every way.
Not To Be Missed.
A first class site, excellent facilities with good selection of pitches. The Wardens were friendly and very helpful, maintaining the site to an excellent standard. The views are superb of the Brecon Beacons and it's tallest summit Peny Fan. Great for walking, the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal is close by, you can walk into Brecon via the towpath. You are spoiled for choice on various attractions nearby and a visit to Abergavenny on Tuesday's for the Market is a must, a bus stops outside the Club Site. I can highly recommend this Site.

beautiful site
We have just spent three nights here - what a lovely site! The staff were really friendly and they have a large on-site shop with everything you could wish for. The bus stop to Brecon and Abergavenney is at the site entrance and the staff have printed off bus timetable for visitors, or there is a lovely walk along the canal into Brecon. Again they have printed off instructions to help you on your way. The facilities are excellent and spotless - lovely big shower cubicles, so you don't have the curtain sticking to you when you try to shower. We found the site expensive, but were were staying at peak times, and will certainly return during the 'low season'. No problems with TV or Wi-fi either.
Something for everyone
Excellent site and location. Facilities and site are well kept, clean, neat and tidy, with a well stocked shop. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Interesting towns nearby - Brecon, Hay, etc., and walks to suit all abilities.
Particularly suited to my wife and myself. After visiting places and a few walks, my wife was happy to spend a morning in the van reading and enjoying the view while I was off on my mountain bike. The Brecon red route passes nearby. Not for the faint hearted, this 24 mile route starts canal-side, rises high above the Talybont reservoir, and climaxes with The Gap and the challenging descent on a rocky stony trail back towards Brecon.

Homeward bound stop over
We stopped here at the beginning of August for two nights on our way home from Snowdonia. It is a very pleasant site, well situated but rather on noisy side from the main roads close by. The site is clean and well kept by very friendly and helpful wardens. There is a lovely pub within 10/15 minutes walk which serves delicious meals. We walked into Brecon along the canal which was very pleasant and took about 1.5 hours.
The bus stop is right outside the site and the buses go to Abergaveny. As they go along the narrow country lanes it is not a journey we would recommend if you are of a nervous disposition. Overall a nice site to stay which has great views of the Brecon Beacons and surrounding countryside.
Nice site, with great walks.
Stayed in July, 3 nights, fairly busy, there seemed to be a push for serviced pitches which we didnt need in a motorhome, but we were told there was no other availability so paid the extra. This we found out was not true, so felt a bit stiched up. Apart From that a nice site but be prepared to cross a busy road to walk the canal, to brecon which is lovely, go the other way for amazing views. Good dog walk to the pub. Would go back but not on a service pitch as not needed and surrounded by Victor meldrews in their caravans, as they were too hot so had fans running on outside & complained about the music in the showers which being radio 2 was a nice touch. Really ??
