Agreeing with others, our experience of the wardens customer facing skills of wardens were extremely disappointing.
two night stay over the weekend
Stayed here with my dog on Saturday and Sunday night in June. Site was in a lovely location and I had no problems whatsoever from booking in to leaving. You can hear traffic from this site but I didn't find this obtrusive as my pitch was close to the dog walk and screened from the road by trees in a small wood. There is a wedding venue close by but I returned each night at about 11.00 pm and heard very little and certainly not enough to keep me awake. I look forward to another stay here
Such a short stay so cannot comment on how helpful staff were in helping to sort problems because I didn't have any but they were pleasant when booking in.

Very Noisy Site
This site should include information of it's website to alert you that there is excessive road noise 24/7 which includes heavy goods vehicles and also that the is a firing range a mile away which is active through the day Monday to Friday. One of the wardens has poor customer service skills, made you feel a bit of a nuisance when asking her for information. I have loved every CAMC site we have visited but unfortunately I will not return to this one.

Noisy site
Lovely site, friendly and helpful staff but spoilt by the race track immediately outside. The A40 and A470 junction is adjacent, but for some reason much of the traffic seems to be rehearsing for a Grand Prix, whether car, lorry or motor bike, accelerating hard out of the roundabout. Then Saturday night we had to suffer the tribal throbbings, aka the bass tones from dance music, eminating from a wedding party at a venue next door. Somehow I slipped off to sleep despite the noise - I next woke at 3am and it had stopped! Not quite the rural Wales we'd hoped for.

Brecon first
After driving past this site for over 8 years, we finally decided to give it a try.
We got a very friendly welcome and chose a nice open pitch with good views.
The site map provided indicated a nearby service point but we couldn't find it anywhere and it turned out the location is now an extra pitch.
Several people were surprised how sparse the water taps were, especially as this is the first C&MC site we've ever been on without any taps outside the toilet blocks.
Ah well, I'm fit enough for a longer walk, but it was a bit of a mystery.
The toilet blocks were absolutely spotless and full marks to the wardens for cleaning them so well.
We walked down to the canal and fortunately didn't find the traffic too busy, crossing the two dual carriageways.
We also walked to the Three Horseshoes Pub and found the paths OK, but slightly tricky given all the rain. However, the worst section was just outside the site on the lane, which was very muddy, so be careful there.
To be honest, we found the pub very pretentious, although the owner was reasonably friendly, but wouldn't go there again. It's a shame there isn't a local chippy or pizza 'van visiting, as there's surely enough folk onsite to warrant it, and it's a fair old trek to the town itself.
One other thing that strikes me as odd, is what it isn't open in winter. There are so many hardstanding pitches and excellent roadways, that I'm sure it would be an attractive proposition.
We'll probably leave it another 8 years before revisiting.
Great site
Just returned from another 7 night break brilliant site. It's a shame the council have not put a pedestrian crossing opposite the site entrance the road is quite dangerous to cross, with the amount of money being spent in Brecon and the local establishments.
Great location, facilities, staff and cleanliness
Just returned ( Friday) from 2 night stay.....love this site.. All staff helpful and courteous. Toilet/ Shower blocks spotless.........Well kept grounds and pitches. Can hear some traffic noise but minimal.
Bus stop at site entrance and lovely walk into town along canal....Visit this site appx 4 times a year.
Well supported!
We've just got back from a 6 nights stay at the site which started off as 4 nights but due to caravan hook up problems which prevented us from moving on safely we booked a further two nights. The site team were brilliant and so helpful in accommodating the last minute changes (11.30am on the planned day of departure); Ian (site manager) in helping us to try to resolve the problem and then when that didn't work directing us to someone who could get us moving again; and the team's ongoing contact in touching base with how things were going. Felt really well supported. We were also glad we stayed as an extra day of rest was much appreciated in dealing with the worry, we linked up with fellow 'campers' who quickly became friends offering help & advice, and we took a leisurely beautiful walk into Brecon along the canal towpath to the Canal Basin in glorious sunshine. The site is well placed to tour the area and although there is road noise it doesn't seem to infiltrate the calm of the site which is immaculate and well served with a shop, 2 spotless toilet / shower / washing blocks and info centre. Dog walk is excellent and their are some lovely dog friendly pubs / cafes in the vicinity. Pitches are well spaced and accessible. Lovely site and we will definitely be back as there is so much to see and do. Many thanks again to the Brecon team : )

Loved the site, love the area!
Stayed here for a week i9n May 2019. Site facilities always very clean, and the site was busy. Plenty to do in the area, Brecon is pretty enough, recommend Hay-on-Wye too. The Sugar Loaf vineyard serves excellent food and makes a very nice white wine, the Aberystwyth, highly recommended!
Easter break
We’ve recently started caravanning and I must say the Caravan and motorhome sites are absolutely spotless including this one 😊 The staff are extremely helpful and very impressed with the on site shop which had a fab variety of essentials and toys for the kids to spend their pocket money on.
It also has a lovely walking area down to the river which has a bit of an assault course for the children, or adults if your feeling up to it 😉lovely places to walk the dog, and it has a good park for the children to play safely in.
We used this as a base to explore, we climbed Pen Y Fan, we also walked from the site to the canal and walked all along into Brecon, this came in at 8KM there and back but we didn’t realise you could get on to the canal from the front of the site although quite dangerous with the speed on the roads, due to the children being exhausted we did the short cut on the return.
We did hire a boat along the canal, it was £35 for 2 hour or £25 for 1 hour £50 half day.
The children thoroughly enjoyed this.
Overall a wonderful Easter break
