Great Stay Thank you

Just spent 5 nights at Blackpool South and have to say the Wardens are lovely ..what a welcome we got even though we arrived at 1 minute past 12 which as we said to them was not planned ..was all due to an early start and uninterrupted journey. Good site ,clean and tidy and the weather was amazing .We will be back .Thank you.

Use your Bus Pass (if you are lucky enough to have one!)

1st time on this site where we stayed for 3 nights. Generally found it excellent with the usual very helpful Wardens - as we have always found during 45 years of Club membership. Very convenient for excellent bus service at nearby industrial park during the day or a short drive to Mereside (Tesco's) for free parking if going into Blackpool for an evening. #14 bus (to Fleetwood) drops you off near the North Pier. It is unfortunate that the town is quite "tired" compared with 25 years ago when I last visited with a Centre rally. It was a shame that the weather wasn't a bit better - the wind was a particular nuisance but we are in England!

Spotless as usual

Very we'll run site. Great info room. Local taxi company offer a fix rate into town for £10 each way. Not sure there is a need to have toilet and shower blocks locked, very frustrating when you forget your key. Not sure who we're trying to keep out?? Stanley park worth a visit. TV and wifi excellent from pith 63

Our second visit.....

Just had another week on this site, and it was as good as last time. Facilities were spotless, good size pitches, wardens very nice. Struggled a bit with TV reception, but got there in the end. Lots of things to do from this site,  all within a short distance. Will visit again in the future.

A Great Location for visiting Blackpool

SmileThis was our first ever visit to this site, We are a family whom wanted a easy location so that we could visit the Blackpool tower. Have to say I am quite particular about cleanliness, well having said that, no worries whatsoever, toilets were kept very clean. The wardens were quite helpful too. This site did exceed our needs so, for us it was a win. Therefore will be returning.

Impulsive Decision

We were staying at the Caravan Clubs Wirral site when we decided not too return home to Kent but to spend an extra few days at Blackpool What a great decision spacious site with good facilities and always clean and spotless some road noise but not disturbing The Wardens were extremely helpful with their local knowledge which made planning a short visit so easy One tip if you want to visit the top of the tower you can get reduced entry tickets at the Tourist Information office opposite .

Brilliant

Just had a week at this site and loved it .Very easy to get into Blackpool and a lot more places to visit in surrounding area. Wardens friendly and site a credit to them.will return next year for lights but in mid week as gets busy at weekends if you park opposite end to play area you don't get the busy road noise.

Lovely site but busy.

Ideal for Blackpool lights and shows and just walking along the promenade. Nice flat site with good sized pitches, little road noise but nothing to bother you. Being Blackpool the site is busy, lots of comings and goings especially at weekends. The reason we came hear was not for Blackpool, a bonus but to go to Southport Air Show as we could'nt get in their, but be aware that it took 4 hours to get their because of the traffic going to the show so be aware, only just made it, parking was a nightmare.

No faults.

Site is very well maintained with some huge pitches not too close to one another. Facilities are clean and just about right for the size of the site. The staff are helpful and friendly. I have knocked off a star for the peace and quiet element of this review because of the very intrusive traffic noise where we were pitched. Late at night it sounds like all of the idiots who own loud cars/ motorbikes in the area use it as a drag strip. A bus into Blackpool is available around the corner from the first roundabout but the service finishes early evening which is why we had to get a taxi back (£11). This is why I only gave four stars for Location.
