Blackpool nearby

good clean site with good sized pitches. very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Blackpool and the lakes. good breakfast and carvery 100mtrs up the road.

Toilet pressure

Just spent four nights at site, lucky as it was a quiet time and we got a great pitch (No7) loads of space, was noisy on occasions due to building work further up lane and HGV's passing. We where wondering how the facilities coped if the site was full as it was busy enough with the few caravaner's /motorhomer's there on our visit. Are there any plans to extend or build a second toile/shower block.

Peaceful.

Just spent three peaceful night's at this site, as usual with club site's the warden's and deputy warden's were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful, both the site and amenities were kept immaculately clean, (a credit to all the warden's) many thank's for a pleasant stay.

Handy for Blackpool, but it is a drive away

Very nice site in itself and relatively handy for Blackpool's attractions. It is about 2.5 miles to the seafront though, so caravanners have the advantage. I took my campervan out and cruised the prom to see the lights and that was great. A bit of road noise on site, but more a drone than being intrusive. Very helpful wardens seeing me in after I arrived later than planned. Thank you.

Not the best

To far out of town for motorhome owners need transport to get to Blackpool not much around no pubs or restaurant within walking distance. Motorway noisy and toilets need updating. Seemed quite a noisy site people up late partying didn't bother us to much but I know other poeple weren't happy. Nice little Park for the kids Lots of young boy racers razzing around with annoying exhausts racing each other I know this isn't the fault of the cc site but it's quite alarming. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless grandkids wanted to come to see the lights.

Blackpool South again.

Dancing , Circus ,Morecombe, Zoo Firework competition and lights. We did it all in seven days. Parked car at Tesco and got bus with our bus passes. Site clean and tidy and secure as always.

Return Visit.

Returned here after a last minute departure due to medical problems at home. We love to dance up the tower in B/pool. This time we got our wish and had a fabulous time. We do love this site. It is so handy for getting about anywhere and everywhere. Once again, very attentive staff. The facilities are always the high standards you come to expect at a club site. We are new at club sites and are really impressed with security, cleanliness and the overall tidiness of the sites. Only downfall is the dog situation. The best way to walk the dog is to get in the car and drive to one of the parks as it's a bit of a hazard walking the dog outside the site, and as there's no actual dog walk area it's a bit of a down. Having said that we had a wonderful time anyway. Would recommend this site to anyone, but be mindful if you're a dog walker.

Great Site, good location for Blackpool

Visited many times and its a great site, shame the buses have stopped running during the day from around the corner. I sometimes think the rules are too strict CC sites compared with others and the Wardens too quick to enforce them, one in particular I think was related to an ex German leader!

good location,

a site in a good location for local attractions, only a stones throw away from Blackpool itself. Good access and all in all a very pleasant site. a bit of traffic noise, but you get used to it. One comment is that the site can be a bit on the dark side at night, especially as there is no dog walk on the site so you need to exercise your dog along the kerb on the road, outside of the camp, which is a bit daunting. other than that all is fine.
