Booked 2 nights at this lovely site, booking in was excellent, we could choose where we wanted to set up so chose our pitch near the toilet block up on the left from reception, toilets/showers very clean & fresh/waste water close by. The site seemed quite big as we only managed to see half of all the pitches but all seemed very good wherever you choose.
TV signal was a bit hit & miss and there is no wifi on site at all but apart from that our stay was great, thank you Wardens.
Great site
Found this site to be immaculately clean and tidy with very friendly wardens. Perfectly located to explore Sussex and a lovely walk into nearby Catsfield. Although the site was full when we stayed it didn't feel busy and was lovely and quiet from about 10:30pm onwards.- perfect.
Lovely Site
What a great club site. Club facilities immaculate as usual. In a superb location with well laid out gardens and terraced pitches. Our plan was to only stay for 6 nights but on arrival quickly changed to 11. Lots to see an do in the East Sussex area. Bateman's is a must see. Sovereign harbour, Bexhill, and Rye are also worth a visit. Will definitely be back.
A Gem in the South of England.
4th visit to this site and not disappointed because from the time you book in to when you leave peace and tranquility are abound. Friendly wardens and their staff keep the site immaculate, the toiletblocks/showers are the best I have seen at anytime day or night, the campers are friendly which makes for a very enjoyable relaxing break.
What a gem
This was our second visit to the site, the last being 2 years ago. Pleased to say it was even better than before. We live fairly close and had chosen the site to test out a new van. From booking in to departing we had a great visit. Helpful wardens suggesting the best sunny pitch to sort out our equipment got us off to a good start. The site is immaculate and quirky with lots of pitches tucked into different corners so lots of variety to choose from. Beautifully kept gardens and site. Immaculate showers, etc and clearly a well run and organised site with wardens who really know their stuff. Nice walks off the site to Battle. We will be back again without doubt!

BEAUTIFUL SITE
We spent the weekend at this campsite, we arrived at about 6pm on the Friday and there were about half a dozen pitches available (the warden kindly marked out which ones were). The first 3 sites, tucked up in a corner appeared okay until we got out and heard the road noise (19,20,21). Fortunately we found another pitch close by that was perfect. The shower/toilet blocks are better than immaculate (can't think of a better word). The grounds are stunning with beautiful flowers everywhere. There's a 1.5 mile walk into nearby Catsfield which is very pleasant and you'll find a grocery shop and very friendly pub at the end of the lane. All of this sounds idyllic but we do like a bit of TV in the evenings or even some internet but there's neither available here, so sadly we won't be returning. If you're happy to live without then thoroughly recommend this site.
Wonderful Site.
We have been caravanning for over thirty years and we consider this location to be one of the best sites we have been to. Crazy really as it only an hour or so drive from home which is probably why we have overlooked it for so long. Clean, Excellent facilities, Good location, Friendly Wardens and the most Stunning Floral Shows.....This will most certainly become our weekend bolt hole.....
Super Stay
We recently stayed 3 nights everything perfect, location facilities and weather, the site is beautifully maintained and the staff friendly and very helpful.
They very kindly allowed us to stay on pitch later to ensure a visit to Rudyard Kipling's house which was wonderful.

Excellent
Just back from another stay at this lovely site which is looked after by an excellent team of wardens who keep the grounds and facilities to a very high standard. The only minor comment is that once again the rhodedendrums were not yet in full blloom come on Suz please make sure they are all out in time for our visit next year. Thanks again to all the wardens for their hard work
