First timers to caravanning

Recently bought our 1st caravan so this was our first visit to a site using the caravan club's recommendation. Brilliant weekend, warm welcome from friendly staff. Lovely grounds, great nearby woodland walks if you have dogs. Facilities were very good. Toilet and showers (lovely hot water) were spotless. Will definitely re-visit.

Balbirnie

First visit to Balbirnie CC Site and not disappointed  Warm  reception from the relief wardens who were working during our stay.  Normal CC standards with facilities.  Short walk to the High Street and around 10 minutes to train station. Bus stop on main road for next village.

Fabulous Warden Gardeners

This is splendid site and very well situated for visiting Fife and Edinburgh. The wardens were exceptional amongst CC wardens working very long hours each day. The gardening work on site is without comparison and is a tribute to the massive effort made by those wardens (only two for a largish site). The site is quiet and spotlessly clean and therefore makes a superb stopover site on journeys north. I agree with the Top Wardens review, they would make exceptional training wardens for new staff.

Our first ever visit to a caravan club site

This was our very first visit as we have only just purchased a motorhome so did not really know what to expect and we were complete novices when we arrived. The warden was more than helpful and we can only thank him for all the invaluable help and information and tips he gave us. The site was spotlessly clean and well kept and we would have no hesitation in going back again. As I say this was our very first visit to any Caravan club site and if this one is anything to go by we cannot wait to visit some of the others

Worth a Visit

Our second visit and just as enjoyable. It's a great kept site with lovely friendly wardens who obviously work very hard to keep it spotless and pretty and the park itself is always a pleasure to walk around with the dogs. The site is also deceptively quiet and tranquil. A perfect stopover for at least a couple of nights.

Top Wardens

We have recently spent nine nights at the site - our fifth visit over a period of six years. Pleasing to note continual imrovements - especially in 'The Hollow' (those who have visited will understand this!). As we have come to expect on CC sites the facilities were immaculately kept. The wardens (only one couple on a site of 81 pitches!) were certainly among my top five wardens on any site. Their commitment to maintaining and even inproving the grounds was especially evident - a real credit to them. All this was accomplished in a friendly and very accomodating way - totally effiicent without ever being being intrusive or officious. Unfortunately I did not note their names - but hope the CC will note this review and draw it to their attention. They would make an ideal pair to train new wardens.

What a difference 2 years make

We have visited this site for many years but the difference in the past two years is fantastic, due to the hard working, friendly and helpful hosts (wardens) the site is in a glorious location on the edge of Balbirnie park with its extensive range of rhododendrons from all over the world. great for dog walks , cycling , and relaxing. The site is exceptionally tidy  with spotlessly clean toilets/ showers with keypad doors. The site location in fife is excellent with bus and rail links virtually on its doorstep. and fife having a great range of attractions, sports facilities within easy reach. We WILL be back again shortly.

5 stars all round

Beautiful site and what an amazing location, easy to get to and the walks were right on the park and surrounding area. Facilities were spotlessly clean and plentiful.  We only stayed 1 night but will be back soon as we really enjoyed it.  Wardens were great too, friendly and helpful, flower beds, herb garden which you can help yourself to is a lovely touch, thanks so much for making it a superb experience for us.

Will definitely return

This is the first time we have visited this site but will definitely return again.  Pitches were a decent size and the wardens very friendly and constantly working to keep the site clean tidy and weed free. Would recommend.  Shower block warm and clean at all time as well with key codes for the doors which we like as it means only site users can use the toilets which we have found lacking in some caravan sites we have visited.

Fantastic site (we will be back again)

This was our second visit to this fantastic site run by the friendliest and hardest working wardens that we have encountered in 36 years of caravanning. The site is beautifully kept by the TWO wardens and the toilet block and wash area are also spotless. the location of the site is great for touring around Fife and being located at the edge of Balbirnie Park has great walks for families and dog owners. The Village is a very short walk away with local convenience store and a hotel/ pub (dogs welcome) all within less than 5 minutes away. The Wardens have gone the extra mile to enhance the park with flower beds and pots around the site.
