A place away from it all.

We used this site when we came up to Shropshire for a 60th Wedding Anniversary. Only booked for a few days but wish it could have been longer. Met by Brian at the gate and shown to pitch. We found both Brian and Josie very helpful and friendly. It is a very peaceful place with great views, and everything you need on a CL. We will be back when next visiting relations and we would definitely recommend Brians pride and joy.

One of the nicest sites we've been on

Me & the wife & our little dog stayed March 2016. Very welcoming, Brian is very proud of his site, he could not do enough for you, without getting in your face. The views are great. Nice to just sit & watch the wild life (woodpecker, blue tits, pheasants, Mole - or at least the mole turning the soil out + more). Walked up to the local pub, Hare & Hound on Friday evening, on Brian's recommendations for a pint & the steak pie, great little friendly pub & we too will recommend the pie. Had a nice stagger back to the site. Will definitely come again & looking forward to the experience in the summer months.

Example of what a good site should be

This a really good site with all the facilities you might need. Brian and Josie are the perfect hosts - very welcoming and helpful well as being very friendly and kind. Excellent location with many attractions to visit plus easy Park and Ride into Shrewsbury which is a lovely town. All this amongst wonderful scenery and more to visit in the Welsh borders

Great getaway - very quiet with pub close by!!

Found this site from the magazine - shame really as plenty of other people now know about it - Brian was most helpful - take some extra chocks as the site is on a slope - but nothing serious - great views, clean site and the local (turn right and about 2k away) is a gastro pub that is well worth a visit - we had sunday lunch - a real treat!!

Perfect CL

Found this cl from a new listing in the caravan club magazine, glad I looked. Perfect for us. Welcoming and helpful owners. Easy access and siting. Warned not to park under trees as they were dropping their nuts. Lovely view over to the Wrekin. Short drive to park and ride for Shrewsbury.

Peaceful site in beautiful surroundings

Set in a quiet, rural location within easy walking distance of the local pub. Sloping site with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Wrekin. Brian made us feel very welcome and provided us with all the information we required. A little gem of a site; we will definitely be returning.

A Hidden Gem

This is a real find!  The owners, Brian and Josie, are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful, (thank you for the eggs, and home grown veg!) The site enjoys splendid views of the Wrekin, and if you crave peace and tranquility this is the site for you!  The dog walk is about a 3 second walk from the gate, what could be better.  The real ale pub is a few minutes walk away, and a small village shop serves local produce a mile or so away in Upton Magna.   It is set in a beautiful location and within easy reach of many places of interest, Attingham Park, Ironbridge, Church Stretton, Clee Hill, Ludlow, and much more.  We hope to return in the very near future.

A delightful find

This is a lovely, peaceful friendly site which we were fortunate to discover a few weeks after it opened. The view is indeed splendid, and the owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. The site is close to a quiet village, along sleepy lanes, but close enough to main routes to enable easy access. I highly recommend the village pub for character, real ales, and the fact that it is five minutes walk from the site. Note that the excellent value and quality food is only available on Friday nights and Sundays. There are fields to walk your dog in straight from the site. Special for us was the fact that the site is on the cycle route 81. You can pedal off the site and be in Shrewsbury in an hour or so, or go in the opposite direction to Telford.  We will definitely visit again.

Happy to be there

We have just spent 4 nights over the bank holiday weekend. What a great find I'm sure this CL will become very popular. Excellently located for exploring Shropshire. The owner could not be anymore helpful. Lovely eggs :)
