We booked for 7 nights but stayed 8. did not want to go home but, we will be back.
We could not find anything to complain about this is what you call a pucker 1st class site. The three toilets and two wetrooms were kept in A1 condition with plenty of free hot water in the showers. The views across the hills was spectacular. Mentioning hills there is NO need for leveling blocks what so ever I even forgot to put caravan brake on first day. 1/2 a mile to Blackmoor Gate there is free parking and this is the best place to get the bus either to Barnstaple or Lynton and Lynmouth in the other direction. Last but not least Nicky and Andy are the perfect people to run such a brilliant site.
Short Break
Stayed three nights only (short break) but would not hesitate in staying longer.Site is very small but good sized pitches, hard or grass, good views.Water tap on each pitch (what a novel idea).Three toilets & two showers which are spotless.Owners are friendly and unobtrusive, stay again ? Yes.
A happy weeks holiday
Received a very exceptional warm welcome. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. A very pleasant site with own water supply and drain as well as the usual electric point, Lovely views and easy access to North Devon and Exmoor. There was a very friendly pub just three miles down the road which served excellent meals. A new site very worthwhile visiting. Highly recommended. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return..
