What a gem!!
Beautifully maintained little site with generous fully serviced pitches. Norm and Debbie were fantastic hosts and as new campervaners they went out of their way to make our stay as stress free and enjoyable as possible.
Easy walking distance to a fabulous local pub (The Gate - very welcoming and brilliant food), bus stop and convenience store with a post office. The electric is pre loaded with £3 credit per night, we hardly used any this time of year and didn’t need to top up.
Great place to cycle if that’s your thing, we did a some fab routes direct from the site to Shouldham Warren, Bawsey Country Park and more which were lovely places to visit.
During our stay we saw red kites, buzzards, peacocks, squirrels, rabbits and deer….of an evening we were treated to birdsong of blackbirds, the Song Thrush and probably more.
We were originally staying for 5 nights and due to go on to a different site for another 5 nights but with all the rain the other site couldn’t take us. Norm and Debbie were so flexible and we were able to stay with them for the entire time - we were delighted and left feeling relaxed. We will certainly stay there again. Nicki & Jules.
