What a gem!!

Beautifully maintained little site with generous fully serviced pitches. Norm and Debbie were fantastic hosts and as new campervaners they went out of their way to make our stay as stress free and enjoyable as possible. Easy walking distance to a fabulous local pub (The Gate - very welcoming and brilliant food), bus stop and convenience store with a post office. The electric is pre loaded with £3 credit per night, we hardly used any this time of year and didn’t need to top up. Great place to cycle if that’s your thing, we did a some fab routes direct from the site to Shouldham Warren, Bawsey Country Park and more which were lovely places to visit. During our stay we saw red kites, buzzards, peacocks, squirrels, rabbits and deer….of an evening we were treated to birdsong of blackbirds, the Song Thrush and probably more. We were originally staying for 5 nights and due to go on to a different site for another 5 nights but with all the rain the other site couldn’t take us. Norm and Debbie were so flexible and we were able to stay with them for the entire time - we were delighted and left feeling relaxed. We will certainly stay there again. Nicki & Jules.

First Class Site

Our second visit to this site. A warm welcome from Norman and Debbie, the site very well kept, secure and quiet. New on this visit was the electric metering for which we received £3.00 a night credit and never needed to top up. We were lucky enough to see squirrels and deer on the site and Red Kites in the sky above. A very pleasant well kept and quiet site, which we will visit again when in the area. Thank you Brian and Teresa

Fantastic Site

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area. Norman and Debbie were great hosts from the minute we called to check availability to the minute we left. The site is very well maintained with spacious pitches all having EHU water and grey waste. £3 of electric is included per night in the price which was more that enough for our use. Peaceful with views over fields and wildlife. Lots of local information available. We did two walks directly from the site on roads and footpaths across fields to the neighbouring villages. Will certainly visit when in the area again. Thankyou Norman and Debbie for a wonderful stay. Sally and Steve

5 Star site with 5 Star owners

This is a true find we booked for 7nights then added 3 more beautiful views and site Norm and Debbie were very welcoming and should be proud of what they have done. We are so impressed we have booked another 7nights but this time our friends are coming to, great dog walk behind the village hall and also in the local area.

Great Site, Great Location, Great Hosts

I don’t normally write reviews but felt I must congratulate Norm and Debbie on their Westfield House Site. We were welcomed on arrival and also rescued by Norm who helped jack the van off my towbar when I had a Jockey Wheel Clamp screw failure so we could go and get a replacement. The site has lovely West facing views across fields to watch the sun go down, EHU, fresh Water and Grey Water Waste on every pitch. £3 / night electric credit provided on metered supply which we did need to top up by a few pounds over the week, however overall this was still great value at £20 / night with 7th Night free (£120 for the week). The site as described does have a slight slope and mostly slopes nose to tail so no issue, levelling blocks provided in the information room. Some minor distant road noise, but again not a problem. Location is great with regular buses into Kings Lynn just 400 Yards down the road which also goes further afield to Peterborough or Norwich. We didn’t use the Middleton Steakhouse which is a 10 minute walk, but had a coupe of meals at the Gate Inn in Middleton village, a lovely local pub providing great value food, just a 30 minute walk (fully foot pathed). We had a lovely meal in the Crown & Mitre overlooking the River (booking recommended), a nice Sunday Roast in the Marriotts Warehouse on the quay, and loved the craft ales in the Nip and Growler ale house. Days out to Brancaster, Hunstanton, Oxburgh Hall and Sandringham. Despite a windy chilly week, had a great time, and we’ll be back. Thank you Norm & Debbie

Great place to stay in Norfolk

Norm met us at the gate when we arrived. We were shown to our pitch which was hard standing. Had water, electricity and grey waste all on the pitch. £3 per day was put on the meter by Norm. This was way more than enough. The view was fabulous and although it was windy we were well sheltered. Enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Caught the bus into Kings Lynn one day and on another we went by bus to Holme next the sea and walked via the coastal path to Heacham where we got the bus back. Very peaceful location. The site is beautifully kept and both Norm and Debbie were very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Great Site

Booked at last minute for Easter and was not disappointed. Hosts were very welcoming. Good pitches and well stock information area. Easy access and secure site. Good local facilities - real ale pub just 20mins walk away. Will use again when in the area. Jane, Steve & the dogs.

Peaceful and picturesque site

Directions to the site were clear and very easy to find. We were greeted by Norm and Debbie upon our arrival who were very welcoming and accommodating. The grass pitches had plenty of space, with great views of the countryside, and each pitch has 16amp Electric, water and grey waste. The site is very secure and well tended to, it's evident that Norm and Debbie have put a lot of work into making it a very pleasant stay. There's a local village shop, two pubs and a bus stop close by. Would recommend this site and would revisit again in the future. Karen and Chris.

A great site

This is a lovely site which is close to many Norfolk attractions and the town of Kings Lynn. There is very easy access from the A47 and the pitches are at the end of a gravel track in a peaceful location. Each well tended pitch is serviced with water and drainage for grey waste and a gravel track runs in front of the pitches to give easy access. Each pitch also has it's own modern 16amp electric point. There is plenty of room for your outfits with a large grass area in front and open views into the distance across farmland. The elsan waste disposal point is within easy reach and there is an information room with details of what can be found in the surrounding area. The site is very secure with a locked entrance and a gate further down the track. Norm and Debbie are a very welcoming and obliging couple who keep their site very well maintained. We will certainly look to visit again.

Excellent

A beautiful and peaceful site. Such a warm welcome from Norm, Debbie and Hugo, their gorgeous, friendly dog. The grass pitches are large with water and EHU. There is a slight slope but easily rectified with blocks. Even though we arrived just after Storm Babet the grass felt firm. Disposal points for grey and black waste and bins for general, recycling and food waste. The site also feels very secure with 2 gates (one locked at all times). WiFi is good. You do need to be self contained as no toilet or showers. There is a village store for supplies about a 10 min walk at most and Middleton’s Steakhouse is only a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed a meal and a couple of drinks but it was quite expensive. Bus stops are also a short walk away with regular buses to Norwich and Kings Lynn.
