Excellent Base

Westfield House is an excellent CL and our base for a 10 night stay in our motorhome(with car hire). The pitches are all serviced but you need to use on board facilities.Views across farmland are pleasant. The village has a shop , two pubs( with distinct pricing policies) both served good meals .Although we used the car there is a bus service into Kings Lynn where you can catch one up to the North Norfolk coast Inc Castle Rising ,Sandringham and beaches. We also visited Ely Cathedral(5*) Welney WWT and RsPB Titchwell marshes. Kings Lynn has a historical centre and for fans of Elly Griffith's and history, the Seahenge circle in the local museum is worth a look. The Gibson's who have been running the site for a year deserve great credit for their enthusiasm and quality of the site (especially pricing point). They deserve to be well rewarded with visitor numbers.

Perfect

A great site with large pitches and fresh water, grey water and EHU facilities to each. A quiet, secluded and security safe site with views across the countryside, facing the sunset. The hosts, Norman and Debbie are lovely people who help settle you in and answer all your questions. The site also has a cabin full of local information leaflets etc. Walking distance to the village shop and Pub/reastaurant. Probably the best CL site we've visited. We stayed for three nights, relaxed and had a great time, and will definitely be back in the future. Iain and Julie.

Fantastic

Just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay at this certified location. Arrived to a warm, friendly and informative welcome from the owners. Able to choose own pitch which overlooks fields and in a tranquil setting yet close to amenities. Information centre with lots of local info. We made use of local bus service using the costal service, which worked well for us. Evening and early morning entertainment came from the wildlife on site, rabbits, squirrels, birds and on our last morning a Green Woodpecker on the lawn in front of us. We certainly will stay here again, when in the area. Many thanks Teresa & Brian

Outstanding cl

A warm welcome was given by Norm and Debbie upon our arrival. We were able to choose our pitch which has a view across the fields and facing west so plenty of sunshine in the evenings. This is the first time that we have had a pitch with waste water, fresh water and electric on pitch which we really appreciated. The site is very spacious with open views and was very quite and peaceful. Being only 15 minutes from Kings Lynn is a bonus for visiting local attractions and not too far from the coast and rspb areas. It was quite obvious that Norm and Debbie are very proud of what they have done with the site and any future projects but for us the site was just perfect as it is. We have been to many cls over the years but this is the first one which inspired us to leave a review, so people please use the site and give them your custom as so many sites seem to be closing in these difficult times. Very good value for money. Paul Nd Jenny

We will be back!

Norm and Debbie appeared a minute after we had to open the padlocked gate to gain access, apologising that they weren't there to open the gate for us. Directed us to the site and said they would be down shortly. Great little site and even better as we were the only ones there. A very slight slope so we used ramps on one side of the van but beautifully maintained pitches with service points at all pitches. Norm even apologised that he had mown the grass but hadn't picked all the clippings up. It is in a great location if you like biking as some beautiful wooded areas nearby and an excellent bus service into KIng's Lynn which is about 15 minutes away. We were told the local pub does great food but sadly shut on the Tuesday night we were there. Upon living Debbie was there to open the gate and bid farewell to us. An excellent stay, good price, lovely owners and we would definitely go back as more cycling to do in the area.

A cracking site.

Arriving at the site we were met by Norman the owner and shown to the site through the locked gate. A gravel drive down to the grass pitches which had a slight slope but easily corrected with our ramps. there is wooden chocks available to you if needed. A good outlook to the fields were enjoyed from the fully serviced pitch. The owner was great showing us the facilities and even allowing a parcel to be delivered to their address for us. Plenty to do in the area so this will certainly be a site to revisit as the owner has more plans to improve the site. The only thing I could improve on is to remove the second access gate and automate the security gate but this all takes time and money. Thank for sharing your land with us and see you again.

Peaceful

We only stayed 1 night but were welcomed by Norman & Debbie who are a very friendly couple. The sight is slightly sloping but we had no problem in levelling our motorhome and with Electric Water and grey waste on your pitch. Lovely views from your pitch and very peaceful, we shall return to stay for longer next time.

A Gem of a Site

This is a beautifully maintained site in a tranquil location. Each large pitch has water, electric & grey water drainage. The views from each pitch are lovely with mature trees & fields. There’s also an abundance of wildlife. Norman & Debbie made us & our two dogs feel very welcome and, as well as providing an information room including numerous leaflets, a book exchange & wooden blocks to borrow if required, happily shared their knowledge of the local area. We enjoyed a drink in the beer garden at The Gate which is a 15-20 minute walk. Their menu looked good too. A great find & we’ll definitely revisit.

Westfield House

A beautiful peaceful small site with pristine fully serviced grass pitches which overlook open fields. Easy access to the A47. A fantastic friendly welcome from Norm and Debbie. A perfect example of how a small site should be presented and run. We will certainly be back again.
