Westfield house

We were looking for a site close to Sandringham House. This is a loverly CL very tranquil and views across the country side. The owners Norm and Debbie are the most welcoming of people, always have time to chat and give you the what’s and where’s of the area. They are lovely genuine people who’ve worked hard to make the site what it is. The site has had a great deal of work done, from gravel entrance to pitches that have their own fresh water supply and grey water drain, and are very spacious. The walk back to the site is well lite with sensor lights as you go by. It is easy to access from the main road to the village street and into the site even for an 8 metre Motorhome. We’ve only just started using CL’s and if this is the standard then we will look forward to exploring more. We actually returned for a second visit as it’s so welcoming, and went for a meal at the Gate Inn in the village.

A week at Westfield House

Couldn’t believe our luck! Norman and Debbie were fantastic hosts always happy to talk to us and give advice on the local area. This is a new to them venture and they are in our opinion doing everything right. The site is at the end of their drive with lovely views and quiet and peaceful. All pitches have electric, water and grey waste. Slightly sloping but no problem all grass pitches well drained at the moment but plan to install hardstandings Nice information room and book swap. They are upgrading with lovely touches all the time. Had lovely lunch at The Gate in Middleton Village. Bawsey country park just a short distance away for great walk around the lake. Used to be sand quarry so different with sand beaches. Sandringham not just for the house but the woodland walks. Wishing you well. Keith Ann and Bella.

Superb stay in a peaceful setting

Norman and Debbie are wonderful hosts and extremely welcoming, and it was a pleasure to stay on this site. Pitches are spacious with beautiful views, and you have electric and water hook up as well as grey waste at the pitch, which is fantastic. Site is secure but easy to access off a quiet road, but King's Lynn is just a few minutes away if you need any large supermarkets or shops. We would also recommend the Middleton Steakhouse & Grill, which is not far away from the site, for a good meal. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay for more; we will definitely be returning here! Thank you, Debbie and Norman for a fabulous stay and hope to see you again soon.

Warm welcome

We stayed here in April 2023 with our dogs to visit old friends who live nearby and we all received a very warm welcome from Norm and Debbie who now own the site. We were the first to book the newly opened site, where we have stayed before under previous ownership. They have made great efforts to ensure the site is in good condition for visitors, with many quality improvements including fully serviced hook ups. It’s a quiet and peaceful location, with west facing outlook for great sunsets over the open fields. It’s a great base to reach nearby Kings Lynn, Sandrignham, the north Norfolk coast and surrounding areas. We wish Norm and Debbie all the best success for the future and look forward to making another stay as soon as we can. Kind regards. Nik & Elaine

Great Easter Weekend

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened campsite owned by Norm, and I must say it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of Norm. The campsite itself is located in a picturesque area with a nearby steakhouse and country park, offering plenty of options for outdoor activities and dining. The facilities at the campsite were top-notch, with well-maintained pitches and clean amenities. Norm has clearly put a lot of effort into creating a cosy and comfortable environment for campers. The bus service that runs to King's Lynn was an added convenience, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the nearby steakhouse. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening. It was great to have such a fantastic dining option just a short walk from the campsite. Norm, the owner of the campsite, was a gem of a person. He was always available to assist with any questions or requests, and his genuine and friendly nature added a personal touch to the overall experience. It's evident that he takes pride in his campsite and goes the extra mile to ensure his guests have a memorable stay. I highly recommend Westfield House campsite for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience. The location, facilities, nearby attractions, and Norm's hospitality make it a perfect choice for a getaway. I will definitely be returning in the future!"
