Peace & Quiet - A get away from it all site!

Just spent a week here at end of March/Early April 2013 and what a lovely site. Easy access from A30 finds you in rolling rural Devonshire /Cornish countryside. The owners have developed a very well maintained site with hard standing to all pitches together with your own personal water supply, electrics and FEE Wi-Fi which was great. The Woodland dog walk is fine, plenty of room for our Labs to exercise and after visiting the rather unclean Forestry Commission site entrance near Holsworthy we returned to used the site walk constantly for our dogs. I understand that the owners may well extend the closely mown walkways to include further areas of their land for members use and in the summer months this will be a lovely relaxing evening stroll through the woodland before succumbing to something essentially medicinal - assuming you can wait that long?? Highly recommend Venn Farm for a peaceful quite break and we will return!

peach and quite

Having just spent 2 week at this site, It is peacefull and quite. The site is clean and the grass is kept short. The Wifi is excellent. The dog walk is good but is not extensive. There are no walks from the site. The Roadford lake is really nice with good walks and a nice cafe. Coast is some distsnce awaybut not too bad if you make it a day out. Lydford Gorge is around 17miles away and well worth a visit.
