Just returned from yet another brilliant stay at Totteridge Farm. The peace and quiet, the beauty of Wiltshire and the wild life is there for the taking. The site is well planned and Caroline and her family are always doing something to keep it just perfect and are there to give you advice on the area and where to go. We always come away, ( reluctantly ) really relaxed and looking forward to our next visit. To me, Totteridge Farm is everything a CL should be and more.
We’re just leaving this absolute gem of a site having spent 4 nights here. We have used CL’s throughout the UK and this is undoubtedly the best we’ve stayed at yet. The pitch gives a huge amount of space for each unit, all with glorious views of the countryside. The chemical loo is very easy to use and well maintained which isn’t always the case! There are information folders to take back to your unit and return later. Access is along country lanes but these are manageable. The canal walks nearby are a delight, with pubs each way. We ate at the Royal Oak and the food was very good. Caroline was going to take us to the car park at Martinsell Hill but in the end we cycled to it and walked up… brilliant. If only all CL’s were as good as this one.
Totteridge farm what can I say an absolutely brilliant CL and we were so well looked after by Caroline. Marvelous walks and wildlife this site is so good we have booked to return in September thanks again Caroline. Trevor and Sandie
Totteridge Farm immediately became our favourite CL. Peaceful, stunning views from every pitch, all services nearby and perfectly maintained, plus an information folder for each van helps to make the most of your stay. Caroline made us feel very welcome and told us about the area, the history of the farm, and the age of the wonderful trees. Seeing how keen we were on wildlife Caroline told us the best times to the hares. She also encouraged us to walk down to the pond, which is illuminated at night, to see the bats. We sat at the picnic table there and were lucky enough to see a couple of owls glide past too. The Vale of Pewsey is a hidden gem and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. We will definitely return.

Lovely, farm based CL with beautiful views and rolling fields. We had a lovely stay here, including a cohort of Guinea Fowl, all cackling for their next piece of bread! Caroline, who ran the site, looked after us during our stay and provided useful tips on local pubs and surrounding walks. I can recommend a walk along the banks of the Avon & Kennet canal for starters.
Totteridge Farm is a fabulous CL. Each pitch has plenty of room with space to park so you can get the best view of the amazing surrounding fields and hills. It’s a really relaxed site. The area is full of quintessential English villages with thatched cottages and great pubs. We stayed four nights and did two long day walks and one day cycling into Marlborough and exploring the villages around there. We are keen walkers and have just scratched the surface so will be back to explore further walks. Very well run site, we’re looking forward to our next visit.
This is just one of the best ...I don't really want to share it but that would be so mean!
A wonderful adult only CL on a working farm run by two very passionate hardworking folk Caroline and Anthony who couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Excellent location , stunning views, lovely walks, easy cycle rides and two great local pubs easily accessible via the canal tow path. Could only stay two nights as on our way back but it felt like five - so relaxed and chilled.
Bought eggs and some stunning wine to take home. Thank you guys we loved it and will be back ASAP!
Just got home from a lovely (but wet) weekend at Totteridge Farm CL, Pewsey.
Sun, showers, heavy rain - we had it all - but Caroline was so welcoming & helpful - even offering to drop us to viewpoints if we wanted.
The weather forecast wasn’t good though (unfortunately accurate) so we settled for lovely walks along the Kennet & Avon canal.
Friday into Pewsey Wharf & Pewsey, beer in a pub garden, collect a takeaway & taxi back. Saturday to the delightful Wootten Rivers & a lovely lunch at the village (thatched) pub.
Horses in the fields, buzzards & red kites overhead, a flock of guinea fowl wandering past, bunnies munching next to the van at dusk, cuckoos & owls could be heard, and a shooting star was seen. Picnic tables for every pitch, fresh eggs and farm wine available as well as all the normal services. Even camping pods in the next field for friends/family that don’t have a van.
Highly recommended!
What an amazingly site, this is our 2nd stay at this CL site, Caroline welcomed us with open arms, made us very welcome, peaceful, pretty and plenty of walks especially by the Avon and Kennet Canal, on arrival on May Day Bank Holiday the winds were terrific and stayed with us throughout the night, we had a lovely text from Caroline in the farm house checking we were ok , and to ring her if any problems even though the night. THANKYOU Caroline, will see you again, Linda, Vince and our sheltie Shadow 👍🏼👍🏼
