Excellent CL

Visited this CL at the beginning of April. The site is quiet and well maintained. Easy access to Whitby and Robins Hood Bay. Village has a pub which serves food just a short walk away. Great for dog walking and great views across to Whitby Abbey. We had a great weekend away and will be returning.

Easter hols

Just arrived back from a four night break at Easter. What a cracking cl peacefull great surroundings and easy to get every where around Whitby area. Owner was very helpful when we asked about local buses and gave us plenty info. Local pub very nice food great and people very friendly. Will be returning to this site for sure and would recommend it to anyone.

Great CL

One of the best kept CL's I've stayed on. Lovely surroundings. Good access to the coast by bus which passes through the village. Pub within 5 minutes walk. The owner obviously takes pride in her CL and has recently opened another one, Abbey View, nearby. Highly recommended

Excellent site

We stayed for a few nights and definitely wasn't long enough. Could not fault this site at all. It was immaculate. When you arrive there is a blackboard with your name and pitch number so you can just get on setting up. Lorraine was really welcoming. We will definitely go back here and maybe try Abbey view which is their site on the opposite side of the road and looks just as nice.

I will be back

Well looked after C/L. Could not ask for a better and well manicured site. Quiet and near enough to the local pub & bus stops. Lorraine(owner) was very friendly and took pride in her C/L. If I am in the area again I will be booking this site.

Very peaceful CL

Owners very welcoming and site is easily accessible.Good walks down the valley to Sleights and fish and chips. Nothing to much trouble for Lorraine. Thankyou. Have had two visits here and will be returning.

Easter Weekend Visit

Stayed at this lovely little site for 3 nights during the Easter Weekend. Very well kept site, plenty of room between pitches. Good location for Whitby and Robin Hoods bay. We used the park and ride for Whitby which was a 2 minute drive away. Very friendly owners, we will definitely be back.

Peaceful CL

Just spent 4 nights at Toft House in the motorhome and have to say it is a great site for relaxing yet close enough to Whitby to walk or use the regular X93 bus service to access Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough etc. Plenty of space between units and a 5 minute walk to The Forge-excellent food very reasonably priced + good choice of ale. Thanks for a great stay Lorraine-see you again soon.

Perfect Holiday

Just spent 3 weeks at Toft House farm. Owners are very friendly and you are made most welcome. This is the 4th year we have been coming to this site and it is thoroughly recommended for a peaceful holiday.Bus stop very close to the site with buses every 30 mins Ideal for using the bus pass. Looking forward to coming back later on in the autumn

Great Site, Peaceful Location

Nothing but the essentials in terms of the services, no toilet block in the field we stayed in, but there was a chemical toilet point, water and EHU. Otherwise, beautiful location. We were in a 'new site' which apparently isn't yet on the CC database, but it is run by the same people that run this site and it is just round the corner. We had a lovely weekend here, just a shame my daughter came down with chickenpox... Not the sites fault, though!
