Magnificent friendly hosts

From the minute we arrived Charlotte made us really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The site is new, looking out over an arable field, with the barn and farm buildings on two sides, the view in front is lovely. All the services are easily available and the pitches are hard standing and fairly level. This is a working farm and there are farm vehicles passing from time to time butthis was not an issue. The site is, as other reviewers have mentioned, in easy reach of Nat Trust properties and lovely quiet countryside. We did use the footpath from the farm into the village and sampled some nice real ale at the Barkers Arms. The other pub in the village had closed a few weeks earlier. We sampled both the bacon and sausage that Chris produces on the farm and bought some to take home to share with friends and family and I'm sure they'll agree it's delicious. Both Chris and Charlotte are very enthusiastic about the farm and the caravan site and we wish them all the best with the caravan site, their personal touch makes it a site we'll return to.

Lovely people, good venue with easy access

Stayed 5 nights mid-September, exploring the area, especially Croft Castle, Berrington Hall, and town of Ludlow, all within 5 - 9 miles. Charlotte and Chris are lovely friendly, helpful people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although it's a working farm the approach road and immediate area of pitches was tarmac/concrete and clean. Hardstanding with area of grass to sit on or pitch awning, and even flower-tubs on each pitch! Peaceful, relaxed, atmosphere. Bacon eggs and sausages all very tasty, and lovely friendly chats with both Chris and Charlotte. Will come again. Pat & Keith

First night out!

We had been delayed by about 4 hours and also frustrated by our sat nav which insisted on taking us through Ludlow itself which was a total disaster - managed to almost get stuck and were on the fringe of un hooking but just managed to get round. So arrived at the site, late and fed up (!) but were given an excellent reception by our host, Chris, who was not at all fazed by our late arrival. Lovely site, right in the middle of their working farm. All facilities as described. Next morning Charlotte arrived and we were able to buy some of their wonderful pork - chops and bacon and sausages. So on Sunday morning we had bacon and egg for breakfast - brilliant! We are totally new to the world of caravanning and this was our first site negotiated by ourselves but the Tudges made it very easy and welcoming - definitely would like to go back.
