Jiffy the motorhome

This is the second time we have visited The Bury. We used it as a start and end on our holiday as a stop off on the way to Cornwall. We had a brilliant welcome again by Charlotte and Chris. Beautiful views, fabulous walks up on the commons. Bus service at the end of the drive to Ludlow or Leominster. Park and rides at Ludlow and Shrewsbury. There is so much to see and do. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic site!

We've stayed at The Bury on two separate occasions and had a fantastic time on both stays. It's an exemplary site! Chris, Charlotte and their family provide an incredibly warm welcome and the hard-standing pitches are maintained to a high standard. It's a working farm, with a bit of added interest watching the occasional tractor drive past, but is relaxing and peaceful, with the pitches set a long way back from the road so any traffic noise is minimal. Finding the site is very straightforward, with easy-to-follow directions and a clearly visible Caravan Club sign at the entrance. The views from the farm are beautiful, as is the surrounding area. We enjoyed visiting nearby Ludlow, Croft Castle, Church Stretton and Carding Mill.

You will never get a better welcome

Another wonderful stay at the Bury. We can't wait to get back again It was the start of a 3 week tour and what a good start we had, as others have said, you are guaranteed a very warm welcome and the CL is everything you could ask for. Thanks Chris and Charlotte for everything.

Just Fabulous!

Spent six nights at this site and wish we had stayed longer. Easy access, excellent views and good flat pitches. Chris and Charlotte were so welcoming and approachable, but not intrusive in any way. We tried their produce and could not believe the quality and taste - we had to bring some home with us. There are plenty of footpaths from the site and lots of other attractions within a few miles. Considering it is a working farm we found it really peaceful and relaxing. Looking forward to returning!

Excellent Site

This is a great CL with a really friendly welcome. Chris and Charlotte could not have done more for us. The site is set in beautiful country side with easy access to the nearby historic town of Ludlow. Note there are no toilet or shower facilities but this did not detract from our stay. I understand there are plans for the future though. The pitches were level, hard-standing with both electric hook up and water. There was a nearby chemical disposal point. Charlotte helped out with walking maps, useful local advice and even offered us a lift home from the pub. This is a great place to stay and, if you're lucky, you may be given fresh eggs and homemade cake! Thank you Charlotte :-) Steve

Perfect!

Stayed here for a week in early April. Never been to this area before and always wanted to visit Ludlow. The site was easy to find using directions from the handbook. Charlotte met me on arrival and offered a choice of pitches. Pitched up and despite the rain was soon enjoying the beautiful area around the site. Both Charlotte and Chris were so welcoming, allowing me access to the farm fields for the dogs to run in. The welcome extended to gifts of fresh eggs and delicious home baked cakes! The area offered plenty to do, with walks from the site and further afield. Ludlow is beautiful with interesting independent shops and charming markets. A great site, made even better by the hospitality of the Tudge family. Looking forward to our return inSeptember (hopefully) and October. Thank you for a wonderful week. Gill

Nice Times

The Bury. Ludlow. £15.00 per night. Sept 2018. Flat hard standings, with water and electric for each pitch. No toilets. Good TV signal and 4g signal. Easy height chemical waste disposal. Views across the fields to the hills beyond. Easy access. It is a working farm so expect some farm noise. Very nice well kept site with two lovely owners. Ludlow is well worth a visit. I would suggest using the Salway Arms, station road route, farm is on the right, although the Sat Nav will take you slightly beyond the farm. Would use again if in the area.

Excellent site

Easy to spot signpost on tree as you approach -lovely drive down to the farm - warm welcome . We stayed for 2 nights - each pitch has it's own electric point and water tap - beautiful views over the fields - containers of flowers by the pitches - lovely touch. Charming hosts., Charlotte brought us a bus timetable, but my husband can't walk very far, so she very kindly gave us a lift into town - generous and so helpful. The Elsan emptying point and rubbish bins are well situated - everything well planned and laid out for maximum ease of use. Great walks over the fields -just idyllic -a really top class site, wish we could visit more often. We booked this site to visit the Ludlow food festival a couple of weeks ago -worth visiting the area more often for the pleasure of staying here!! Thank you so much Also really hoping you might install 'Pods' at some stage -it would mean friends with no motorhome could join us! :)

Superb

The Tudge family were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had the pleasure of trying their home made sausages, home-cured bacon, and venison, which were all superb. And free range eggs too. No need to eat out on this trip! Can't recommend this CL site highly enough. We will be back...
