Fantastic stay

This was our first visit to a certified site and we will definitely be back. We had such a warm welcome from Charlotte and Chris and Bob. Such a great spot, we went walking, cycling and on the recommendation of Charlotte went to some lovely villages for coffee. We bought the farms sausages and bacon which was lovely for breakfast this morning. Cream tea was the best. This was a little gem of a find for us and thank you for our stay. Jo and Steve

Just Perfect

This is our fourth stay at Bury Farm and as always a lovely welcome from Charlotte and Chris. The site although it is on a farm is spotless and the few farm workers that we saw were so friendly and courteous. If you go you must try Charlotte’s cream teas. They are amazing. There were so many places of interest to visit nearby. All in all a lovely week away. Highly recommended. It is one of the best sites that we have stayed at.

Peaceful

We recently stayed for 2 nights, thoroughly enjoying the beautiful scenery as well as the peace & quiet. The welcome was very friendly. If you are tempted by the food don't miss the superb smoked bacon, ham and sausage rolls. The pitch was flat and roomy, all facilities were well placed, especially for 2 "newbies". We left feeling very refreshed and would definitely recommend.

Lovely and Peaceful

We stayed here recently unfortunately it was only for one night, but we will definitely be calling again. There is a nice pub in the nearby village of Orleton called the Boot Inn which was nice. The reason why we highly recommend The Bury is down to Charlotte and Chris the owners. Charlotte is quite simply one of the nicest person we have ever met and nothing was too much trouble for her from the moment we arrived. The jewel in the crown however is the local produce you can buy directly from the farm, especially the bacon that Chris smokes on the premises, it is by far the best we have ever tasted. We look forward to calling again when heading south. My only regret is that we did not buy much more bacon. Thanks Charlotte and Chris for being such wonderful hosts, we hope to see you again soon Paul, Kerry and Roxy the boxerdog

Half way !

Just returned from our first visit to this first rate CL site. Booked after reading other reviews. Excellent pitch, great views and very peaceful. Charlotte & Chris (the owners) are lovely people, friendly and helpful. Bought some of the rare breed pork products to bring home. Hope it's not too long before we can go again. Thank you. A&S Jones

All Round Excellence!

We have visited The Bury CL twice this year and both times were exceptional. Charlotte and Chris are great hosts and provide outstanding customer service...nothing is too much trouble. Friendly, responsive and very helpful regarding the locality. Charlotte has even set up an Information Station full of helpful info such as places of interest, local eateries, taxi's, etc. We can only add to and reinforce previous comments regarding the range and quality of their own rare breed pork products that can be purchased on site, such as home made sausage rolls, amazing sausages, burgers and bacon! Charlotte even made us a very tasty cream tea which certainly hit the mark. The site is very peaceful and just a 10 minute drive from Ludlow where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and an amazing medieval castle on the river. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance reached by various footpaths that cross the open countryside, and the site is well placed for longer circular walks if preferred. Overall, this is a brilliant CL and Charlotte and Chris are to be applauded. We'll be back.

Wonderful Hosts

Just back from a 5-night break at this wonderful little site a few miles outside Ludlow. The site is set in the idyllic Herefordshire countryside but thing that really makes it are the owners, Chris & Charlotte. We rang the day before to let them know what time we’d be arriving. Chris & Charlotte were there to greet us and direct us to our choice of level, hardstanding pitches, all with their own water and electricity supply. The site was easy to access along a long straight driveway off the B4361 between Leominster and Ludlow. Elsan point and recycling facilities are close to hand and there’s a useful information room on site also. Chris & Charlotte are wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Charlotte was a wealth of information on where to go, where to eat and where to shop, she even offered to give us a lift to the local pub, book restaurants and arrange taxis if we wanted. We had a little bouquet of sweet peas on arrival and Charlotte also gave us free sausage meat to try, chillies and peppers from their garden and homemade pannacotta desserts. Charlotte even made us a cream tea for our anniversary. They rear their own rare breed Berkshire pigs so you can buy their delicious bacon, sausage and pork directly from them. Chris was also kind enough to take us on a tour of their farm to see how the pigs are raised. The pigs are kept several fields away from the CL so there’s nothing to disturb your stay. We were so spoilt that we really didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. I think this is going to be one to return to again and again.

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful break. The site is spotless. Chris and Charlotte so welcoming and helpful. Good television reception and recycling etc very good. The weather was not brilliant but it did not stop us enjoying the walks, shops and site seeing. Will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend a stay.

Excellent CL site

We stayed here with our two children (8 and 11) and found it to be an excellent site. The friendliest and most helpful owners we’ve met who simply couldn’t do enough for us. They even gave us some sweet peas in a vase for our outdoor table! It’s worth positioning the van nose first so you can enjoy the lovely view. The farmer helped position our van (we don’t have a motor mover). Hard standing pitch is a bonus and good tv signal. The site is a great base to explore this area. We went to Oakerwood (10 mins away) where the children did outdoor activities. Also went pony trekking at Darky Dale Stables. Ludlow is a 10 minute drive. Would recommend.
