'Excellent' CL

Recently returned after 4 nights at this excellent CL. From arrival to departure Gerald and Hazel treated us like friends rather than guests. As has been highlighted by others, this is a gem of a location with the best of facilities and one to which we will make a return visit to asap.

A little piece of heaven

We spent the weekend there over Easter and have nothing but praise for this lovely little gem of a site! Peaceful location, stunning views, lovely warm clean shower block, extremely helpful and attentive owners who couldn't do enough for you but weren't in the slightest bit intrusive, just there if you needed anything! A fabulous, secure dog field just next to the pitches where my young dog had an absolute whale of a time racing from one end of the field to the other. If you don't want to move your van during your stay it's just a short taxi ride into Newcastle Emlyn where we spent a lovely afternoon, or into Cenarth for the waterfalls. We used Home James taxis as they had 8-seaters and there were 5 of us plus two dogs (not all in one van - lol!). We will definitely be going back here again!

A CL that has it all……. From panoramic views with an outstanding sunset to a site that caters to your every need! “You won’t be disappointed” Friendly owners who are clearly passionate about their site and their own caravanning/motor homing experience, this passion is clearly demonstrated on your arrival, pitches are well executed and the areas are immaculate… Fantastic and friendly staff who go the extra mile - well done 👍

Back again

Just come back from another amazing week after enjoying it last year so much. The site was great last year but even better this year with hardstanding and fully serviced pitches. Spotlessly kept and constantly being improved and worked on by both Gerald and Hazel. Could not ask for better hosts and we will definitely be back again and again.

One of the best

Definitely one of the best, if not the best CLs I have been to. Very peaceful, spotlessly clean facilities and the most friendly and helpful owners. Certainly one I will be returning to.

Wonderful CL

Excellent clean site with wonderful views. The toilet & shower is immaculate. 16 Amp EHU, hard standing. Very fast Wi-Fi (it is provided by the site but I used my own)

Lovely peaceful site

Terfyn Mawr is a fantastic little site tucked away in spectacular Welsh countryside with uninterrupted views to the coast. Our excellent hosts, Hazel and Gerald, were very welcoming and provided very useful information about the area. Lovely clean facilities on site and very spacious pitches. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

Amazing site and very welcoming and helpful

Gerald and Hazel met us on arrival with a very warm welcome and showed us around the site and where everything was. The site is immaculately kept and the field which was more like a bowling green was very firm even though we had 3days and nights of constant rain and storms. Nothing was too much trouble for Gerald and Hazel and when the rain stopped and I decided to put my awning up Gerald must have seen me as he was going about his daily work and came to help me put it up. The shower and toilet room was also immaculately clean and very spacious, it also had all local information and attractions and even a large selection of books that you could borrow or exchange. The pitch was almost perfectly level, very spacious and had amazing uninterrupted views. So glad that we stayed here and will definitely be back again. Gerald and Hazel are constantly working and on hand to help in any way that they can. They are always working on the site and looking to improve it in any way that they can, if that is at all possible! Thank you both for an amazing stay and we look forward to returning in the future.

Peace and tranquillity guaranteed!

An extremely warm welcome from Gerald and Hazel. They could not do anymore during our week stay to make us feel welcome. Any problems and they will help you to sort them out - eg recharging my leisure battery. Pitch was very spacious and adequate for our caravan, awning and two dogs. Views are spectacular. Toilet/ shower is immaculate. Great base for visiting local towns and beaches. One of my favourite sites - has everything you need. Wish the site was closer to home so we could visit more often! Thank you for a great stay.
