Relaxation

Booked this cl for its location and glad we did as it is peaceful and relaxing. Location was spot on for what we wanted for Pickering and the coast. Lots to see and do in the area. Very warm welcome from the owners who gave good advice of where to eat. All grass pitches and plenty of space between units. Although we had rain most days for our week stay the ground was well drained with no problems at all. Would definitely stay here again when we come to this area of Yorkshire. Thank you to the owners for a lovely site.

Lovely

Bob and Bernadette were so welcoming and helpful. Very spacious, level site. The field was well kept and clean. We've just come home after enjoying 5 nights here and recommend it to other members if you are looking for somewhere lovely to stay in this area. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely little site

We stayed at this peach of a site from Monday to Friday with our two dogs and had a wonderful stay. Very flat, well cut site. Easy to enter and exit. Bob came to introduce himself and his advice of the surrounding area was very useful. The site is very local to Pickering and the quaint village of Thornton-le-Dale. A nice farm track to walk the dogs was available over the road from the site. Overall, a great little site which we will definitely revisit if we are in that locality again.

Gem of a site

This is a very well maintained level site with well kept facilities (and free WiFi which is an unexpected bonus), and situated perfectly for visiting all the coastal resorts, Dalby Forest for the walking, and the many inland attractions (Eden Camp is well worth a visit, and only 10 minutes down the road) and Pickering and the steam railway 10 minutes in the other direction. There is far to much to do and see in a week and we shall definitely be back for another visit. Bob and Bernadette are brilliant site owners, very helpful and friendly and always on hand but never intrusive, to help with local information, eg walks, places to eat, etc. Other caravanners on the site took us a lovely walk one night. Thank you Bob and Bernadette for another lovely relaxing week with you - see you again next year!

Helpful and welcoming which makes for a very relaxing atmosphere on the site. We fully recommend Summertree Farm as a great site to stay with easy access to Malton, Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough. And we are already looking forward to our next visit there. Thank you Bob and Bernadette

Summertree CL

Highly recommended. We spent 5 days at Summertree and enjoyed every minute. Bob met and welcomed us on arrival and provided us with lots of useful information. The site is a large well mown flat field with loads of space for each pitch. Best wifi we've ever had and all facilities clean and easy to use. Really useful location; seems to be half an hour from lots of the things we wanted to see, from the east coast to York, plus lots of local pretty villages and countryside walks. We also caught the train to Leeds for an evening at the theatre and Bob and Bernadette went beyond the call of duty by offering to dog-sit, as the weather was too hot to leave him in the car or caravan. Thank you also to our friendly fellow CC members for some great evenings spent chatting and having a drink; really made it an enjoyable break.

Fantastic place to stay

Wow what a fantastic CL. Bob and Bernadette are fantastic hosts. Greeted with a warm welcome and quickly given all the relevant information. Very large flat grassy field, with plenty of space for privacy. Conveniently location to many areas of interest. Information leaflets available. Free wifi which is useful and good TV reception. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great holiday.
