Fantastic Site

Just returned from a 7 night stay. What a brilliant site, Bob and Bernadette so welcoming and very helpful. We have never received so much helpful information prior to arrival. The field was damp so we were accommodated in the paddock on hard standing which was ideal, still a superb view and Bob ensured all facilities were available to us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hopefully can return later in the year.

Lovely CL

A very nice welcome by Bob and Bernadette to our first stay at this very nice site. Close to Dalby Forest and North Yorkshire Steam Railway and many other lovely places to visit.

Warm welcome by the owners

We have just spent four nights at Summertree CL,this was our first visit to this site although we have been to several other CL sites in the same area. We would rate this as one of the best. The site is easily accessible, the field itself is level, with distant views towards the Yorkshire Moors. On arrival the owner explained to us, about waste disposal etc. Although we didn’t take our porch this time, there is no extra charge, and you are allowed to put a carpet down, which some CLs don’t allow. The site location gives easy access to the Moors or the coast We hope to be back soon.

nice site

very nice level and roomy grass field, welcomed by owner on arrival who advised re pitching, where to walk the dog, local attractions etc. overall a great site however if like us you were attracted by the great views from the site there weren't any being surrounded by high hedges and trees so were a little disappointed

What’s not to like

Just going to add this to our favourites list after a 5 night stay , spacious flat pitches , very well maintained and nice friendly owners . In the heart of the Yorkshire country side and just 2 miles from an extremely pretty village. Lots of attractions to suit many tastes close by. What’s not to like!

Idyllic CL

Just back from a 7 night stay at this CL. Excellent location for exploring the North York Moors and the coast from Bridlington to Whitby. The site is easily accessable from the A64 and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be looking to stay here again in the not too distant future.

Lovely relaxing holiday at delightful CL site

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Summertree Farm CL Caravan site . The site is immaculate, level ground and very well maintained. Bob & Bernadette very welcoming and helpful, site ideally located for visits to the coast, Castle Howard, York, Malton ( pretty market town) Flamingo Park , North York Moors, and the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale. Excellent farm shop/cafe nearby ‘Cedarbarns’. Highly recommend this site, we will be back !

Another lovely stay

Bob and Bernadette are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay enjoyable. This is our second stay this year. Immaculately kept field , nice and flat, plenty of space.

Peaceful Stay

We've just returned after a six night stay, we did want seven nights but with this being a popular CL the seventh was not available to us. Access to the site is good, we approached from Malton the roads are good, I made sure I moved to the other side of the road to swing into the entrance. Once inside the entrance access to the CL field is good and we were met as we entered the field and given a useful information sheet. In the current situation it was nice to have a large container of hand sanitiser adjacent to the gate into the CL field. There are footpaths adjacent to the site but we went further afield for our walks, up on the moors. The nearest fuel we found was in PIckering and the nearest local shops in Thornton Le Dale. The CL is a large level field and we enjoyed a very peaceful stay.

Looking forward to my next visit

I highly recommend this site for peace and a relaxing break. The owners are really kind and helpful and facilities excellent. Great for dog walking, only 25 mins to Scarborough etc and the beautiful scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors Is on the doorstep. I am looking forward to my next visit not forgetting the bakery in Thornton-le-Dale. Jane and Sam 🐾
