Fantastic Easter 2022

What can we say that others haven't....not a lot! The site is immaculate, the facilities are immaculate. The cleanest CL we have stayed at. The owners Martin and Deborah are fantastic hosts and the gathering round the fire pit on Good Friday evening was absolutely brilliant, and a lovely way to get to know them and the other campers. The animals on site are a lovely touch to an already endearing site. Fresh eggs available with an honesty box. The dog exercise field is enormous with a toy box for the dogs to play with.....or in our spaniels case....steal until they leave site. And not forgetting the picnic bench at each pitch. Can't wait to visit again.

Fabulous!!

Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Site was immaculate with essentials being sold in reception with an honesty box for payment. It really made you feel like a welcomed guest as opposed to being given a long list of 'not to do' rules. We loved the enclosed dog exercise area, great for our Beagle. Enjoyed seeing the lambs and donkeys, wish I had brought carrots with me! Each pitch was hard standing with EHU, light and picnic seat for two. Just wish the weather would have been kinder rather than the frost, snow and hail we had. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend.

Best CL Ever

Returned home yesterday after spending six nights at Spring Paddock. We’ve been members of the Club for over thirty years and have stayed on CL’s all over the country and this is The Best!!!!! Easy access for our very large outfit, great welcome from Deborah and Martin, information pack and key fob for the security barrier and we were shown to our pitch. Perfectly level hard standing, easy access for electric, water, bins. The dog walking field is amazing, they even provide doggy toys!!! We made good use of the dog wash, although Buddy wasn’t very impressed. The whole site is spotless and immaculate. If we could think of one negative, we’d say, but there just aren’t any. Loved our days out and the walks on Cannock Chase were great, with a map borrowed from Martin. We didn’t hire the electric bikes but they looked great. We will definitely be back, if a pinch is available, as the more people hear about this little gem the harder it will become to book.

Fab new year break

We have just returned from a lovely peaceful and relaxing break at Spring Paddock over the new year. Martin and Deborah are a lovely couple and have done an amazing job of the campsite. Everything has been done to a very high standard and a lot of thought has been put in to all the amenities provided; including amongst other things a dog wash area and a bike wash. The lovely warm toilets and showers are very spacious and spotlessly clean; there are plenty of hooks for your stuff and really nice bench for sitting or for more of your belongings. The fully enclosed dog exercise field was brilliant and our dog loved having it to himself! We loved the friendly sheep in the next field (although they were more friendly when it was time for their feed haha) and the little pond area with the geese/ ducks. Although we didn’t see inside, the Old Tack room looked fabulous from the outside and ideal if you want to bring a relative who doesn’t have a caravan / camper / motor home. I notice from other reviews the mention of the road being noisy, we honestly did not find it a problem at all and it did not impact in any way on our stay. If there was any negatives (for us) it was only that there had been a lot of rain and so the grass was very wet and muddy in some parts, but this, I imagine, is seasonal and not a problem at all at other times of the year. We really, really like Spring Paddock and can 100% recommend it 😊

Overnight stay heading north

What a beautiful well laid out CL and one of the best that we have stayed on. A warm welcome from Deborah and Martin who made us very welcome. Lovely gravelled pitches and spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Super dog walking area. Well stocked shop for the things you might forget and local produce including their own eggs. We will definitely stay for longer next year so that we can explore the area more. The road noise was not a problem. Thank you to Deborah and Martin once again for paying so much attention to the little details and we look forward to staying with you again.

Brilliant CL site

I love the little extras that this site has. Tables for each pitch to use, potted plants and decorations etc. As others have already said this place is spotless with brilliant facilities. There is a large enclosed dog area which is fantastic for our four legged friends. The hosts are lovely and they have allsorts of goodies in the shop. The grass has the plasic underlay underneath so it is all weather proof. We had quite a lot of rain and had no problem getting off. The only negative is the road noise but I knew that prior to booking. All in all it is one of the best CL’s i have stayed at.

Superb CL!

What a superb CL! One of the best we have stayed on. We wanted to visit Cannock Chase and the surrounding countryside, taking our bikes to explore. We were not disappointed, as this area is popular for biking with many many trails. The friendliness of the owners and their facilites on this site are second to none. The exclusive toilet/shower block are immaculate and warm (very necessary on a frosty November morning!). You cannot fault this CL. A real gem. We shall come again, as there is so much else to see and do nearby. As an aside, we were not bothered by the A34, though maybe in November there is less weekend traffic.... who knows! We would heartily recommend Spring Paddock CL.

Nice looking site

Stayed here twice recently as a break point on a trip to the north ( and back!). Site looks lovely, very well cared for and facilities are top rate, all well looked after and cleaned regularly. The only reason we did not rate it 5 stars is the road noise, which unfortunately was very intrusive. Ear plugs cannot even keep it out ! Perhaps if you live on a busy road it wouldn't be a problem, hopefully once the hedge has grown it will help to deaden the sound, fingers crossed, as we would love to visit again.

Fantastic Site

Our second visit to this site and again we were not disappointed. The site is immaculately kept. Nothing is too much trouble for Deborah and Martin, they are always willing to go above and beyond to help. We already have it on our list for another visit next year.

Gold Star

Fabulous CL. Cannot praise it enough. Top Class Facilities. Spotless and Clean. Generous Sized pitch with the added bonus of your own picnic table. Even Dogs were catered for with Toys for them to play with in the Fenced Off Dog Walk. It was by a Main Road but I used Ear Plugs & didn't hear a thing. It was a very relaxing stay. 👏👏 to Deborah & Martin for the Fabulous CL. I give it GOLD Star Rating as never stayed in such an Immaculate Site.
