Well looked after site

Very well looked after site. Very good shower and toilet facilities. Well spaced pitches with gravel and grass. Nice pond and paddock areas. Only slight negative is the road noise although you quickly become accustomed to it and it wasn't very busy overnight. Right on the doorstep of Cannock Chase.

Best ever

We stopped here for three nights in September 22, after touring from our home in Dorset on a round trip to Inverness. First time here but what a fabulous site .Deborah and Martin are such lovely hosts, really genuine. The facilities are brilliant and spotless, great area to tour around, and in the mornings waking up to the ducks and donkeys being fed is great. Will be back again in 2023.

Fantastic two night stay

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at this lovey Cl. Wonderful welcome from Martin and Deborah on arrival everything explained clearly and a welcome pack with everything you could need was also provided. Loved the grounds, the secure dog paddock and the provision of toys for the dogs was a lovely touch. This was our first visit and won’t be our last.

A Great CL

We stayed for four nights from the 5th September. A great site, well run, very clean with great facilities. Cannock chase over the road, plenty to do and see in the area. Despite the sad news with Queen Elizabeth passing, we really enjoyed and will be back. Thank you. Richard & Debra Hurst

Five Star CL -Outstanding

Our recent 4 night stay has been our best ever holiday in our Motorhome and we have been to quite a few. Martin and Deborah are the friendliest, most helpful people we have had the pleasure to meet and are prepared to go above and beyond to make your stay the best ever. Molly says thank you for her special field where she had the time of her life and so enjoyed the toys provided. The toilet and shower are absolutely immaculate and the postcards are a very thoughtful extra. The spacious pitches with chairs and table provided are brilliant and the whole site is so well kept it is a credit to both Martin and Deborah. Access to Cannock Chase is just a short walk down the road and you can walk for as far or as little as you want, it’s brilliant with a cafe at the end of one of the tracks. We cannot wait to return in the very near future. There is a bus stop just outside and buses run frequently to Stafford or Cannock if required how brilliant is that.

The best Doggy friendly place ever.

What an absolute Gem of a place. Everywhere is extremely well cared for and has immaculate toilet & shower facilities. The owners should be soo proud. The best of the best facilities available for dogs. Theres an extremely large & safe dog walking field with the benefit of off lead walking/having a blast round if preferred, an abundance of balls and throw & catch toys available to use, dog wash facilities, waste bin & doggy ice-cream.... 😋 Who could ask for more when it comes to pampering our beloved pooches. Happy doggies make for extremely happy campers 😊 Great location for walking, cycling, horseback riding through the Chase. This place certainly ticks all those boxes that we look for in a a small CL site. Will definitely be returning again & again for our ad-hoc weekends away.

Another lovely weekend at Spring Paddocks

This was our second visit to Spring Paddocks this year. Once again we had a warm and friendly welcome from Deborah and Martin. Pitches are all a good size, cleanliness of facilities 100% and lots of sunshine too! We will definately be back next year as there is so much to do and see around this area.

Recent stay

Whilst we have to agree with all other reviews, the facilities are excellent, and site itself is well thought out, we were greeted by fellow caravaners as owners were away. We feel however we must mention the road noise from the A 34 which is next door to the site. Site is also on route to local hospitals, blues and twos many many times aday Lovely site but for those requiring the peace and quiet of the countryside, please be aware of the 24 hour traffic noise.

Best CL so far

By far the best CL we've stayed on so far and I think it will be very hard to beat!! Very down to earth friendly owners which is always the first impression you want! The site and all facilities are easily the dictionary definition of "immaculate". Toilet and shower facilities are on another level! Because when you're away nothing beats your own shower..... Except these do! They have their own small lake with a small collection of gorgeous and cheeky animals! The communal firepit is a very nice touch and getting everyone around if they wish to enjoy a few drinks is a nice touch! I really enjoyed that! The local area is great and plenty to do, it's our local area so we know what's what. We only booked it last minute as a chilled out get away for my Birthday and we liked it so much we booked again for later in the year within one hour of getting home!
