Superb Site

So pleased we chose Spring Paddock for a 4 night break! The owners have done an amazing job of making this site perfect in every way. It has spotlessly clean facilities, lovely pitches, and beautiful surroundings. Small personal touches add to the user-centric experience - a table and chairs on each pitch, nice diffuser air fresheners in the bathrooms, lovely 'Higland Coo" shower curtains and so much more. We were given a lovely welcome by the owners and felt right at home throughout our stay. We'll be back ... often hopefully!

Perfect for persons with limited mobility

Really fantastic site. I have limited mobility and needed somewhere to take my two dogs in my motorhome where they could be let off the leads to run freely. Martin and Deborah went out of their way to pitch me near to the dog walking area for ease of access. Well secured, so no worries they could escape. My dogs loved every minute. In regard to the site, super clean and tidy. Secure with access barrier and not overcrowded. The pitches were perfectly spaced not on top of the one's either side. Highly recommended especially for walkers or bikers and there are two super pub restaurants very near. Certainly I will be booking again and again there. Thank you Martin and Deborah for the welcome, kindness and above all providing a brilliant site.

Excellent site

Having just spent 2 nights cannot fault this site the communication from Deborah and Martin was excellent to enable a smooth start to our stay. The site has thought of every facility you may need and is as good as any club site but with only 5 vans. Walk on Cannock Chase was great easy to get to and the tea rooms 20 minutes from the site was lovely. The showers are excellent new, very clean and large so that your clothes don't get wet and have to hop on one leg!! Deborah and Martin very much go over and above to make this site a success, we will return. Thank you Alison and Ian

Recent visit to Spring Paddock

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Spring Paddock. Cannot fault the site as all facilities are superb(even free fast WIFI!). If you are a walker/dogwalker this is the perfect site,as Cannock Chase is 500yds away, with miles of lovely walks. Pitch hardstanding and grass SECURE dog walk right behind pitches. Security barrier onto site Water/waste facilities very good. Really is like a "mini" main site. Walks: Cannock Chase 500yds Union canal 4miles Food: Tea room 20mins from start of Cannock Chase Walk. Severn Stars 3 miles-very good Post House Stafford-pricier but very nice for a treat. Supermarkets-Stafford has all of them,5miles Shopping: Stafford has a nice precinct and Cannock has a designer outlet, Yes there is a little road noise from A34,but you dont notice after first night. Basically you wont go wrong!

Nearly perfect CL

As has been said previously this site is immaculate, more like a mini club site. Facilities spotless, all amenities you could wish for, dog walk, bike wash , dog wash the list goes on . So why do I feel a bit unsure? Booked from site book, as had no internet access, book says £19.00. As we only stayed one night and have a dog , price became £25.00 , tad expensive for one night. Also our pitch was next to the main road , which was busy and noisy late into the night and early morning. As I have said the owners are really switched on and provide an excellent cl, aside from the couple of niggles.

Simply excellent

Plenty has already been said about Spring Paddock and wonderful hosts Deborah and Martin which I can only echo. A lovely welcome complete with information pack, a guided tour of the new 'Tack Room' accommodation, which is beautifully presented and I hope does well for them. The site itself is easily accessed with hardstanding and level, with a separate parking area for tow vehicles once unloading has been completed, this in itself helps keep the grassed areas in good condition without muddy or worn tracks showing. Much has been made of road noise and yes, there is some, but it doesn't take long to tune it out. A lovely surprise one morning when the Geese decided to visit from the adjoining wetland area. A visit is highly recommended. Thanks Deborah and Martin, looking forward to seeing you again. Ann & John

Spring Paddock Revisited

This was the second visit to Spring Paddock which for us say's it all. Deborah and Martin really look after this site, they make themselves available and are meticulas in their care of the site and it's facilities. Spring Paddocks is a site that we can never visit enough.

Cracking CL, wish we could keep it to ourselves!

What a gem. Beautifully appointed CL, nothing too much trouble for the owners. Lovely details - dog toys for instance in the dog run. Great location, easy walk into Cannock Chase. Pub within walking distance. We will be back, thanks for a great long weekend.

Just Perfect!

What a lovely site!, we stayed here for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The owners Martin and Deborah are so friendly, always around to lend a hand. The site is clean, tidy, neatly mowed. The mini shower blocks are super clean. Loved the piped music in there! The added feature of your own wooden love seat per pitch is a nice touch. Bike and dog wash areas very helpful with the muddy walks. Campsite is set in such beautiful surroundings, enjoyed watching the ducks being fed -that live on the duck pond, the sheep were very friendly too. The secure dog field is just perfect, we have a dog with some medical needs, she needs space to be walked alone when off lead, knowing that she was safe at all times just made our holiday. We liked the small car park for the cars so they are not on site. The little village of Bednall was delightful to walk around. There is a walk 5 mins from the site which takes you into Cannock Chase AONB where we walked and discovered amazing views. So loved our mini break there we have just re booked to return there later in the year.
