Excellenet CL

This is probably the best CL we have been to. The welcome was excellent and the facilities were top notch. The pitches are well spaced, and the toilet and shower facilities were spotless and like being at home. It's obvious that a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this site a great place for visitors. The wifi on site was fast, free and perfect for streaming TV.

Peaceful stay

My second stay at Spring Paddock this year. A very peaceful site with great facilities. A pond with ducks and fish. A dog exercise field. Hard standing, gravel pitches with outdoor seating. A great location for visiting Cannock Chase and many more places in the area.

Sssssh, don't tell everyone!

Only having stayed on one CL before we were expecting something fairly simple but this site is way beyond basic. The owners being experienced in caravanning and motorhoming themselves have clearly put together a site which offers everything that they would like in a perfect site. The pitches are spacious and each contains a couple of wooden seats. There is a spotless mini toilet block with a shower and toilet in both the ladies and gents, (no push buttons here). The washing up shelter is well equipped, plenty of hot water and the whole services area well cared for and tidy. The views from the site are over the adjacent field with pond, ducks and seating areas. Although the site is next to a busy road we didn't find it particularly intrusive and it was quiet at night. There are also loads of things to do in the area from walking/cycling to visiting local stately homes and museums. From the warm welcome when you arrive to the moment you leave, it is an absolute delight. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

WELL EQUIPPED SITE

The site owners Deborah & Martin are fabulous hosts. They have created a fantastic cl site with great facilities. The site is absolutely immaculate. The only downfall is that the pitch which we were allocated was right next to the busy road and unfortunately my husband didn't get much sleep! Its such a shame.

Dennis

Just had 2 weeks at spring paddock. The owners go above and beyond to maintain the site. Grass well maintained even dog exercise field. Spotless toilets and showers I liked the different postcards every day nice touch. We didn’t use all our electric 10 units a day sufficient. The barrier is a good safety feature. Didn’t use shop except for eggs well stocked. The A34 is right next to site so expect some road noise. Would it stop me from coming again No. Lovely walks onto Cannock chase from site Would recommend site

Excellent CL Site

Our 2nd time to stay at Spring Paddock, which was again a short stay of just 1 night when travelling back North. This site is the best we have stayed at for the following reasons: - A great sense of arrival, - Top class cleanliness, - Evidence of great attention to detail Overall the site is extremely well maintained and a credit to it’s owners. Deborah and Martin are superb hosts and go above and beyond to provide superb service and guest satisfaction. Their communication is excellent and they are constantly on hand to help.

Outstanding CL

We stayed overnight to break up a long journey and were extremely impressed by the quality and high standards of this site. The attention to detail was remarkable, even down to a box of dog toys in the large field set aside for them to run free in. The whole place was immaculate and Deborah was very welcoming. We will definitely return in the future. The only reason for the four stars under the heading Peace and Tranquillity is because of the main road that runs alongside the site. This was no problem for us, but for others traffic noise might be a slight issue.

Superb site

Deborah & Martin have worked hard to create a superb little CL site, and are to be congratulated. Access is via a secure lifting barrier, and it's the first CL we have visited that has a suite of brand new showers and toilets, together with electric hand driers. The newly installed metered hook-up bollards are simple to operate, and we only used a fraction of the electricity included in the price. In a field next door (via a gated entry) is a pond with geese and ducks, and adjacent the A34 they have chickens and a cockerel. We will definitely return.

The best yet !

We stayed here for 3 nights recently . The weather was a bit iffy but it hasn't dampened our enthusiasm for this site . Very welcoming hosts and such a well maintained and thoughtful site. The facilities were excellent- everything we needed and more ! The dog exercise field was fantastic... with toys on loan , too . We will be sure to return
