All great. Very friendly and helpful owner and a well kept site. Walk down to the seaside is beautiful, although it’s hard work coming back! It’s about a mile and the small, pretty village has a pub, cafe, harbour and usual seaside stuff.
We went on a glorious coastal walk which included a sculpture park (most unexpected).
All in all, excellent.

Fantastic CL
Our last evening at Specky Wood as I write this review. Have been here for 4 nights and one of the best CLs we have been to so far. Huge plots for Moho/Caravans with EHU. Extremely well kept site and within an easy 15 min stroll down to Coverack. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and I liked that Jeff came round to check how our stay had been and if all was well. They also provided some great tips for local sightseeing. We have had a great stay exploring the coastal walk to Cadgwith (only attempt that one of you are fit and able to climb high cliff steps which are not always even but we enjoyed it). Coverack is a fantastic fishing village and we had lunch at the Paris Hotel Inn which was fab. Great food and Tribute on tap. I am from Cornwall but have hardly explored the lizard in my 50 years, but will be back to visit this one again for sure. Get in quick before it gets booked up!!
Great site
Stayed here for 2 weeks in the summer of 2020. Lovely owners really friendly. The toilets and showers were not open due to covid but the pitches are big and well spaced out. Within walking distance of Coverack village and the beach. Peaceful, well kept all you need really.
Peaceful tidy site
Lovely peaceful & neat & well kept site. Mr & Mrs Bastian, extremely welcoming & helpful. Grass kept short, very big pitches. Highly recommend.
Great location
Lovely CL site, owners very friendly, helpful and informative. Loads of walks from the site, 15 min walk into Coverack which is an absolutely lovely little fishing port, coastal walks to St Kennack. Great place for kayak and SuP as a very safe bay, will definitely be coming back soon.
peaceful and great location
We spent two weeks at this site at the end of June and early July and will most definitely be returning. The newly built toilet and shower is very clean and convenient for those with campervans or smaller caravans like ourselves. The site is extremely peaceful and it was lovely to wake to the sound of the birds every morning. It is also well located for access to all the attractions in the area and is walking distance to the beautiful village of Coverack. The owners Nicola and Jeffrey were very hospitable, but also respected our privacy. All in all, a wonderful holiday and we are looking forward to visiting again as soon as possible.

Our Favourite CL Site in Cornwall
Another fantastic holiday at Specky Wood, thank you to Nicola and Jeffrey for running an immaculate site. We've just had 17 nights here as we absolutely love it. It is so well kept, quiet and plenty of spaces inbetween each of the pitches. Nicola and Jeffrey are fantastic hosts and make you feel very welcome. This year our daughter joined us with her family and they can't wait to return, as can we. Just wish we lived nearer, it's 7 hour drive but well worth it. We've been coming down for several years now and will definitely be back next year. We highly recommend you visit the site and see for yourselves. You won't be disappointed.

Best site in the Club July2019 stay
Just finished yet another wonderful stay at Specky Wood.
Nicola and Jeffrey are so obliging and pleasant people its a joy to visit.
kept immaculate in every detail.
both work tirelessly to achieve this, the site is in a great location level and a lovely walk into Coverack.
I have visited this site many times even though it is a 630 mile round trip, but well worth it.
it is also my favourite site in the many hundreds I have visited, just wish it was closer.
many thanks again for supplying such a great experience for us again and again.
will return.
Alan and Jackie Motorhomer.
reluctant review as would like to keep it a secret.
