Brilliant, well-run site
I had high hopes of Skybarn Farm as a result of reading the incredibly useful and comprehensive ehandbook that Nicola sent with my booking agreement: everything you would possibly need to know to get the most of out your stay was included in it. Nicola also answered a specific query I had by doing a bit of research for me locally before I arrived.
The site is immaculate and each pitch is large enough to put a caravan, awning and car side by side so the view out is not spoiled by the car having to be put in front. The pitches are fully serviced which for us is a bonus. And the site has a key coded entrance, which is reassuring. Access to the site is easy, with no narrow lanes to negotiate, and Nicola's directions are crystal clear and not open to confusion.
The only small downside, for some people maybe, is that there is a slight noise from the main road which is not far away. However, I can honestly say that because it is a regular, and not intermittent noise, you soon find that your brain gets used to it and you don’t notice it any more.
There is so much to do in Lincoln and in the immediate area that I have no doubt we will return.
