Excellent site

A very clean, tidy and well managed CL site. Only reason for a very slight lowering of the rating was simply due to the A46 which is fairly close, however, this made no difference to us at all. The 'shed' is the tardis on the site that seemed to have everything - books, magazines, eggs, information, chairs, kitchen sink (only joking with the sink). A very safe and secure site with electric coded gates and on a working arable farm. Would definitely consider another visit - Thanks.

Everything you need

Easy to access, this site is a delight as you turn the corner to see 5 well spaced, hard-standing pitches around well mown grass. Ā  Water, waste and information hut are easily accessible. Free wifiĀ is a definite plus not to mention the tasty, new laid eggs. We were fortunate to see beautiful sunsets from the site as well as hares playing in the next door field. There are also good paths round fields to exercise your dog. Booking and arrival information was easy to access. Ā  Excellent value for money.Ā

Great site near Lincoln

Wow! What a lovely site! Never been here before but we definately will be returning! Great correspondence from Nicola. Nothing could have been made clearer. Instructions to site, the immaculate site itself, fresh eggs!, information hut - plenty of info of the surrounding area, pubs, walks etc, and even chairs to borrow for visitors AND spare electric lead in case yours doesn't reach!!, countryside views, just brilliant. Large spacious pitches with plenty of space in between. Grass well kept and everywhere tidy. A lovely CL. Thanks Nicola - we will be returning.

Recent visit

Visited this site mid May and booked in for 6 nights. Ease of booking and pre arrival info that we received was brilliant. Nicola seems to have thought of everything in her information sheet that she has prepared. Nicola greeted us on arrival and made sure that we were O.K. The site is immaculate, grass well cut and very well laid out, nice views and wildlife in abundance. I particularly liked the recycling facilities, possibly made easier on this site as it wasn't far to take rubbish to bins, not always easy to recycle when away from home. Not far from Lincoln and the many other places of interest around the area, if you don't know the area, there's heaps of info in hut along with books and magazines to borrow. New laid eggs with honesty box in hut as well. Free access to Wi-Fi was also very useful. Would definitely use this site again if returning to this part of the country. Thank you again for an enjoyable few days.

Recent stay

Everything you want from a CL without having to negotiate narrow lanes and potholes and yet quiet and peaceful. Wonderful for dog owners with long walks in real countryside. Knowledgeable owners who have thought carefully about the facilities they provide and the space around each pitch. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and with the bonus of lovely fresh farm eggs. Will definitely visit again.

Love this site

For us this site is close to family, so if we have the caravan with us this is ideal. It is one of the best sites we've stayed on. Although, as said before you can hear a little noise from the road it is not intrusive. Site so clean and well kept it is a joy to stay on. Owners are lovely and very helpful.

Fantastic Site!!!

This was our first time on a cl and find it hard to image it could get any better!.The owners were friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. We planned on going into Lincoln but enjoyed the surroundings so much we just stayed put.I particularly liked walking round the edge of the farmers fields, which were cut back ,so walking was easy.Theres loads of local wildlife to see,I saw numerous birds as well as hares, rabbits and muntjac deer!.We've already booked to go back.??
