Yet another week at thus excellent CL

This CL is a great choice for us, being just an hour away from home. It is easy to book online, all instructions and advice is clear and precise. Nicola and Richard, the hosts, ensure your stay is perfect, with a nice welcome. The site has electric security gates, the pitches are all fully serviced hard standing, well spaced, and plenty big enough. This is our chill out site, we love it.

Keeps getting better

First time back for nearly a year due to the pandemic of 2020. While the site has been closed Nicola has ensured the time was not wasted. Elsan emptying point is now nicely enclosed so people don't have to watch you clearing up your business and a boot/dogwash has been added so you can get things clean before going into your unit. Also a path has been put in across the grass to the bin area/information but which helps prevent wet feet from the few soaked grass if you are too lazy to walk around the road (or too tired after a day walking in the surrounding countryside) The site itself is a little gem, every pitch is harstanding which helps when you get rain due to the clay soil not being free draining. Each pitch is also fully serviced so once set up there is nothing more to do other than relax and enjoy the friendly welcome from Nicola and the dogs.

Great Site

This site is excellent. This is not our first visit to this site but it is our favourite site. From Booking to arriving we were kept up to date . A worm welcome when we arrived from Nicola. Electric gates make it feel a safe site. The site is well spaced out and the improvements that have been made this year only add to this site. Muddy paws wash facility for the dogs, recycling point, pitches made slightly bigger and with it being all serviced pitches who could want for more. I would recommend this site to anyone. We have already booked for next year. David

We will be back

Had last weekend at this excellent site, fully serviced pitches and immaculate, booking process very easy and was kept informed by email at all stages. Excellent for walking the dog with easy access to Lincoln and nearby cycle ways a credit to the owners. Some noise from the A46 but what do you expect when booking a site close to a main road! Getting our 2021 calendar out to book again.

Fully serviced

Lovely CL. very well kept, large gravel hardstandings well spaced out, each has a view of surrounding fields. Being fully serviced pitches means no communal facilities which is great during the pandemic. Nicola is friendly and very helpful. She ensures each hook up and tap point is sanitised between guests departure and next arrival. The site is very accessible from the A1 and close to Lincoln. The Wolds are beautiful and about an hour's drive. The coast about 90 minutes. The only downside is road noise from the nearby A46 which we found disturbing when the wind was in the wrong direction. Unfortunately that is beyond Nicola s control!

Home from home

Like most of us, we were desperate to get away - so we opted to book Skybarn again as we had enjoyed spending a very stormy week (weather wise) in February 2020 which was also our first full week away, after only becoming caravan owners in November 2019. We were not disappointed. A great welcome from Nicola and it really did feel like 'home'. This time the weather was kinder - we were able to cook outside using the Cadac and we met some really like minded people who we will be keeping in touch with. The site is immaculately maintained - large fully serviced pitches are a joy - scenic views are wonderful and whilst there is some low level traffic noise, it isn't and doesn't spoil the otherwise relaxing experience. We highly recommend this site - we have booked to stay over Christmas this year, all being well.

Lovely private cl

We had a lovely stay at the very well located and equipped site. Easy access from the main A road and great cycle paths around the countryside and into Lincoln. Spacious private pitches, each with water/waste/electric. Very secure with coded gate access. The Rose and Crown pub is a 20minute walk through the sites own fields and was very welcoming. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere close to Lincoln but still with the countryside on the doorstep. Nicola is very welcoming and informative.
