A peaceful relaxing stay

We have just returned from a ten night stay at this lovely CL. Communication before, during and after the visit is excellent. The App to download is extremely useful and saves a lot of preparation time finding places to go and to eat. Access to the site is very good - no narrow roads and a wide entrance. The coded gate entrance makes you feel safe and secure. The pitches are level and an excellent size. Having the bollards with water, waste, EHU and meter was very convenient. The WiFi was reliable just remember to log in each day. Nicola and Richard are very amenable, friendly and helpful. We found the places to eat in the App were spot on - sampling two pubs, the Chinese takeaway and the fish and chip shop. Our favourite was The Five Bells - with their quirky interior and exterior sitting areas and great food. We also ate at The Railway where the food was good value and plentiful. We were lucky during our stay to see The Red Arrows practising, and to see the Barn owl twice in the field behind the caravans. All in all an excellent ten days holiday - as the weather was good for us. Thank you Nicola and Richard.

Lovely site

We stayed one night on the way up North in the middle of June. We wished we had booked longer, and will certainly return again. Easy access from the A46. Immaculately kept site, large level pitches, electric charged at a reasonable rate per unit. Good information cabin, and fabulous dog walks around the farm. Nicola gave us a warm, friendly welcome

One of the best!

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful little site. It is immaculate, generous sized pitches, all hard standing & very well kept. We didn’t use any electricity. There was a tap on each pitch. The information hut was very well stocked with leaflets regarding local attractions. Nicola was a brilliant host, very friendly. We felt safe & secure. We drove to the park & ride which is located in the Waitrose car park about 10 miles from the site to visit Lincoln. We would highly recommend this site to anyone thinking of visiting this area!

Skybarn C L

Our first visit to this little gem, kept seeing reviews so when we needed to be in Lincoln thought we would give a it a try, and not disappointed immaculately kept, all facilities with easy reach, hard standing pitches we could put pegs in. Our host Nicola very approachable and friendly. Very easy access from A46. Ideal location to explore Lincoln and surrounding area. Hopefully will be back.

Great CL close to Lincoln and Nature Parks

Our first visit to this great CL. Easy to find and get to. The proximity to the A46 does result in some traffic noise but not overly loud or disturbing. On site dog walk is useful but also lots of local walking within a few miles at Whisby nature reserve and Hertsholme. Easy to get into Lincoln for sightseeing. This is a well kept site and Nicola is friendly and helpful. This CL will definitely stay on our list for future visits.

A gem of a CL

A very warm welcome from Nicola as we pulled onto the site. Despite all the rain of recent weeks the site was immaculately presented, green lawns and manicured pitches. Lovely walks from the site, and wonderful things to see in the local area just a few minutes drive away in Lincoln. WE will definitely return.

Firm Favourite

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Skybarn CL site. This is our 3rd visit to this lovely site with it just being an hour away from home and a firm favourite. The owner Nicola very friendly and helpful. The site is very well kept and pitches are spacious flat hard standing and fully serviced with a water tap and waste outlet for each pitch. Electric is metered and payed at the end of your stay. The site is accessed through a security coded gate. Being Military Aircraft enthusiasts its location is perfect for us near RAF Waddington and when the Red Arrows are practicing their displays you can see them in the distance. Further afield is RAF Coningsby where The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based. Well worth a visit. Lots to do in a beautiful part of the country. Highly recommend this site and look forward to our next visit.

First visit and will definitely be back

This site was our base for the weekend to see our daughter who is studying at Lincoln University and it's a great little hidden gem. Minutes away from Lincoln centre yet far away to be completely rural. All pitches are serviced and hard standing. Spotlessly clean well maintained a credit to the owner. We will definitely be returning.

Peaceful easily accessible site

Enjoyed a lovely short stay in a lovely part of Lincolnshire. Easy access from A46, and well located for Lincoln. Ideal if you have a dog with great walks on site around the working farm. The serviced pitches make life so much easier during your stay, and an information hut helps you plan your stay. Lovely welcome on arrival from Nicola, she also visited us before we left to wish us a safe journey. Definitely a site we will return to when visiting the area again.
