Wonderful site

We have been coming here for many, many years and never get tired of it. It is always kept immaculate and the toilets pristine. Thank you again Brian & Kath.. We will be back

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this CL. Yes the weather was almost perfect but so was the site. It is so well cared for and the owners are so friendly. We were on the bottom field with plenty of space, though full. Our pitch had a lovely countryside view which we couldn't tire of looking at. Excellent toilets and showers. We were in a motorhome but hired a car with Enterprise at Keighley. They picked us up from the site and returned us to it after the car hire. Easy. The beauty of the surrounding area speaks for itself. There are so many lovely walks and places to visit. We will definitely return.

First outing of the year

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of March and had a really peaceful break. The site is lovely , well sign posted, clean and easy to access the owner was very helpful . All pitches have electric hook up and are hard standing.There are two site fields and a board on entrance with your name on to show you where you are. We were spoilt for choice as we were the only ones here. Our three dogs were in heaven because they had the site to them selves to explore . We didn't walk far as the weather wasn't great and I'm so glad we had wellies. We didn't use the shower facilities on site which are situated near to the main house so a little walk from the site, as we just use our own in the van.There seemed to be a couple of fresh water pipes in our field and bins with recycling. We had a day in Skipton which is really lovely with shops, pubs and a market. Not far from the site in Gargrave ( a car needed ) is a Co op shop that is fully stocked with all you want. We will defiantly be coming back to Seat House

Lovely

This has been our 3rd visit of the year, as usual no complaints about this perfect site. You are welcomed with your name on a board telling you which field to go to. Kath and Brian put a smile on your face, when you see them. The site is kept very tidy and the toilets and showers are always clean.Cant wait till next year when we will be back, for an enjoyable visit to Seat House

Home from home

This is our favourite CL, we try to visit at least once a year just got back from our second visit this year. Lovely location, lots to do in the area or why not chill and take in the beautiful surroundings. Love watching the cows and calves and the sheep. Pitches are large, well kept. Toilet facilities are excellent and showers are superb. Cath and Brian are a lovely warm couple who are there if you need them. I love coming to this site it feels like I have come home.

The Best of the Best

We have stayed at many CL sites over the years with our caravan, but this site is the one we love to come back to, it is the most cared for site, with beautiful cut grass, spotless toilets and showers that are free, fantastic views and wonderful scenery, and the warmest of welcomes from the owners, who is always so happy and full of funny stories, in my view this should get CL of the year every year.

To good to be true

We arrived at Seat house never using a CL site before and we were so delighted at what we found. Clean friendly welcoming site I am worried about leaving this review as it is a busy site already and we will be using it again as a base for this area. Loved every moment .the cows giving birth the sheep views peace and quiet can't wait to return. What a gem of a find. Booking now for next year as I know they will be busy. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

One of the best

Just had an amazing 6 night stay here, from the moment you arrive on site you just feel relaxed in this perfect location. Brian and Kath are so welcoming and have loads of local information to share. They are always friendly when you see them and they keep the site and facilities immaculate. When guest have been returning to stay with them for 29 years tells you everything. Thanks for a great stay and the firework display on TUESDAY NIGHT was wonderful. !!!

Surely its not only a CL

We stop here for a few days in July having booked it from the book whilst looking for a site near Skipton. We couldn't believe it when we arrived to find level hard standing pitches ,toilet and showers. A nice quiet location with nicely mowed grass. The elson point was a fair walk but the site provides a trolley to make it easy. Couldn't find any faults. We liked it so much we booked a return trip whilst we was there.

Yorkshire delight.

Homeward bound from Seat House didnt want to leave. Other reviews say it all. A lot of love and care goes into this site by the owners and it shows. Will defiantly use again and recommend to anyone wanting the perfect yorkshire getaway. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Wellock.
