This is a little gem of a site. The owners could
not be more helpful. They are motorhomers themselves and their attention to detail to make the site perfect is remarkable.
Each of the six hard standing pitches are large and fully serviced and level. The Elsan point is a Dutch one that they imported and makes an unpleasant job v easy!
Dogs are very welcome and we enjoyed plenty of walks from the site.
It’s an easy and pleasant 30 minute walk into Rye in one direction and in the other you reach the sea and winchelsea beach.
We found plenty of v lovely places to eat.
We would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely site.
Excellent site
Just had a 5 night stay here and we will return a lot. The site is spacious and so new and sparkly! Easy walks to Rye nature reserve and nearby Winchelsea. Rye is also easily walkable and The Waterworks brewery pub is a must when visiting. Tricia very welcoming and helpful and wish them best in their new venture, makes all the difference not to have to schlep to water tap when it’s raining! Can’t wait to return in good weather .

Perfect CL, One of the best!
Trish & Steve excellent hosts. Obviously worked very hard to get this CL perfect. All hardstanding pitches with water and waste for each unit. 16amp electrics, great toilet waste unit, and information hut. Allowed us to add another night as travel we felt dangerous on our final day. Caravans well spaced with views across open fields. 40 minute easy walk to Rye or, bus stop close by. New Inn pub in Winchelsea good for food. Co-op 2 minutes drive away at Winchelsea beach for essentials. Mermaid hotel in Rye well worth a visit. Can't fault the site. One we'd definitely highly recommend and visit again. Thank you both , loved it!
Super Site
As motorhomers themselves, Trish and Steve have incorporated many of the things that make a site stand out. We stayed for 10 nights on a gravel pitch which was perfectly level and had its own electricity, water and grey waste disposal points. It is a spacious field which they keep immaculately with the pitches grouped together along the edge. They provide a well stocked and helpful information shack and even shared some of their excess produce from the vegetable garden. They were very welcoming and communication before and during our stay was very easy by email. We appreciated being able to pay online too.
The position of the site is excellent, really peaceful on the edge of the nature reserve with the beach, Rye and Camber Castle in easy walking distance and a short drive from lots of other places of interest to visit. Entry via a private road - beware of unmarked speed humps! The entrance is easy. We were a bit worried about the gravel slope on the exit as our car has struggled in the past with gravel uphill however we had no problems.
This is a lovely new site and they deserve all the good reviews they get!
Absolutely fabulous
As per other reviews, I can’t praise this CL enough. Trish & Steve are extremely helpful and friendly. Beautifully kept site, grass you could play lawn bowls on, pitches are all serviced pitches. Mixture of grass and hardstanding. Can’t rate it highly enough
Already a favourite
Fantastic CL. Had two stays here this summer and really cannot fault anything. Beautiful setting with easy walks to Rye in one direction and the beach at Winchelsea in the other. Lovely hosts who made us feel so welcome. The site is immaculately maintained and we love ‘fully serviced’ aspect of each pitch. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
Absolutely wonderful
Tricia and Steve the most welcoming and helpful hosts. We have been travelling and this will be our last in a year. They say - save the best till last!
Best kept site we've been on, lovely setting with plenty of walks. Bus stop handy for visiting surrounding areas.
Do recommend staying here. There are shops for all essentials close by, best butchers and fish shop ever!
We definitely will be returning.
Not for us.
Well signposted site with hookup and water on pitch. For such a large field the pitches were very close in one corner. Not much privacy. Woken each day by noisey yappy dogs at nearby property and doors opening and closing by nearby campers. No toilets or showers as stated. Great walks and cycle rides nearby. Lovely welcome from owner but overall not for us.

A great find
Tricia and Steve are great hosts , trying to help whenever possible ,(Thanks for the loan of your hose). The site postcode was not recognised by our aguri caravan sat nav . so just take the road signposted winchelsea beach, or you may end up in winchelsea, Not a good idea with a twin axle on the back .Thanks again .
Beautiful CL
We visited this part of the U.K. for the first time and found this a lovely site. It is very clean and tidy and very open, which we enjoy. The surrounding countryside has fantastic bike rides and lovely walks, all from the site. The owners were lovely and I would recommend this site to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.
