Fantastic CL

We had a wonderful short break at this new CL. The owners gave us a really warm welcome and were so helpful. The site has a fabulous view and is within walking distance of Crich. The shower and toilet were kept clean. I would highly recommend this site.

Lovely weekend rest.

We were in need of a restful weekend and this site fitted the bill. A warm welcome from the owner who showed us where the amenities were, giving access to pitch easy. A pleasant walk into Crich across footpaths so no main roads. Dog friendly cafe and pub so a brilliant weekend with a restful site, clean toilet and showers. Will definitely return.

Brilliant CL

A lovely clean well kept site. Very friendly and helpful owners. Super views, nice walks. Excellent holiday from all aspects. Grass is kept short, toilet and shower very clean. Would definitely return.

Excellent CL

This CL has everything you would expect and want from a CL, electric hook up, water (at every point) toilet, shower and easy access to the field. On top of that the views are amazing, it's location is excellent to lots of attractions in the Peak District. The village is within easy walking distance - approx 1.5 miles (with 2 or 3 great pubs, a bakers, a chippy, a post office, a butchers, a church and late night store). The owners - Paul and Joyce are excellent hosts too, giving a warm welcome and lots of local information too. This is a fairly new CL, and we re sure it will become a very popular one, so make sure you book. Thanks for a great 4 nights. James, Sandy and out little dog Lottie.

A little gem with fantastic views

We would like to thank the people who had cancelled their booking, as without them doing this we would not have had the pleasure to stay on this lovely site. We had only decided to go to Derbyshire at 4pm on Saturday which meant we wouldn't be arriving until late evening, this was not a problem and we received a very warm welcome from the owners. We ate our breakfast looking at fantastic views in the peace and quiet - bliss. We will definitely be returning.

Great little site

After looking locally for a site which had clean facilities, beautiful scenery and spacious pitches we have found it. We was greeted on arrival by Paul who quickly pointed out where the facilities were and left us to set up. The field has a slight slope but chocks are provided for those that don't have any. The slope is not too bad compared to some in this area. The toilet and shower rooms are kept very clean, although we didn't use the shower as we use our own. There are plenty of places to walk especially if you take a dog which quite a few did this weekend. We walked over the fields to Crich and stopped off for a coffee in the dog friendly café. The views from the site are very nice and it is a lovely peaceful site. We would visit again but wont be able to go until after the summer now due to other trips planned.

Welcoming Friendly Site

Owners very welcoming and friendly. Pitches good size. Toilet and shower lovely and clean. Chemical disposal point and good recycling facilities. Crich tram museum an easy walk away. Stunning views and very peaceful and quiet. Had problem with the fridge in our Motorhome and the site owners went the extra mile to help us lending us a cool box and even freezing there ice blocks for us. We highly recommend this site if you're looking for a peaceful relaxing rest. Will definitely be returning. Fred and Marilyn. Helston. Cornwall.

Lovely site

Great location. Very spacious pitches and relaxed owners view on how to pitch the unit. Shower and toilet a bonus. Footpath gives a nice walk to pubs in Crich or Wessington. Ideally located for many attractions. Hard start for owners as club had issues uploading the images of the site and this is my fifth attempt to leave a good review for them. Site and owners ten out of ten. Caravan club website, disappointed

Scenic Pitches

Easy access to site and a warm welcome within minutes of entering. Level pitches each serviced with individual water/electric. The views are cracking, no traffic noise just the odd tractor or two but it is a working farm . Shower and toilet are clean. Pubs within walking distance with a selection of good ales and pub food, grocery shops too if you wish in Crich but we drove a few miles to Alfreton. Walks in abundance, many local attractions and points of interest. Well impressed.

Arrived to a very friendly welcome. Pitches are large and individually serviced. Perfect location for walking. Very quiet. Good facilities for a CL with shower and toilet. Will definitely be returning.
