DearPaul&Joyce
We would just like to say it has been such a pleasure to stay at your amazing farm,CL site.
We are quiet new to caravanning so we have been out four times as yet,and your place is far superior to the other sites we have been to,you have really good hard stands, amazing views ,water, and electric on each pitch toilet, and shower very good.So cannot fault anything at
all.We went to say thank you and bye when we were leaving ,but you had gone out,so spoke to your nice son Luke, who was very helpful as we bought 1 dozen fresh free range eggs before we
left,so all in all we would love to come back soon as we are going to be hardy caravaners all
year round.
Best Regards

We came here for the weekend to visit the tramway museum in the village and to meet up with my daughter and some friends at the steampunk day there.
The site is on a working farm but you see little of the cattle. The walk into the village is either on a road, which has no footpath, or across the fields, which takes about 20 minutes easy walking to the village, where there are takeaways and two pubs, both dog friendly. The views from the site are beautiful.
The site is tidy and fairly level with three hardstandings. All pitches have 16 amp electricity, water tap and some have drain. There is one toilet and shower which are a bit scruffy but perfectly functional and clean.
This is definitely one for our list to come again.
Paul and Joyce are really welcoming. We spent a relaxing long weekend admiring the beautiful scenery from the site and during our walks in the surrounding countryside. Each site has a dedicated water supply and a drain for the disposal of grey waste, very useful. The village of Crich is a short distance away across the fields, we visited the beautiful church and the Sherwood Foresters Memorial Tower. There are breathtaking views from the grounds surrounding the Tower and there is a lovely little tea room that is run by the Warden’s wife. She makes delicious cakes and provides a very friendly welcome. We visited more than once to sample her cakes while admiring the views. There is also a really good fish and chip shop in Crich, definitely worth a visit. There are some lovely scenic walks but a few of the paths are not that well maintained. We managed to catch sight of Wingfield Manor on one of our walks, a very impressive local ruin. Thank you Paul and Joyce for a great weekend we would definitely like to visit again!
We absolutely loved visiting Moor Edge Farm. Both Paul & Joyce were amazing hosts and gave us a wonderful welcome to the site. The site itself was peaceful and lovely and we enjoyed watching the cows in the morning and evening. We had exciting trips to Carsington Water, Crich Tramway Village and even Lyme in Stockport. In summary, both my 11 year son and 15 year old daughter said they would definitely love to visit again - that Iam sure you would agree says it all!!
This was our first visit to a CL site, and I can't say I'm disappointed. On arrival, the owner was waiting for us, and told us to pick between 2 pitches. We opted for a hardstanding next to the site entrance, and the views from there were outstanding.
The facilities were basic, but spotlessly clean, and the other visitors were all very friendly. A short walk into the village of Crich took us to a couple of very dog friendly pubs. There is also a cafe and local shop. Even the Indian take away delivers up to the site!
We shall be visiting this site again very soon, and thanks to the warm welcome, and great experience, we shall be visiting more CLs in the near future.
P.S make sure you try the fresh eggs!!
A warm welcome from the owners Joyce and Paul, peace and tranquillity and beautiful scenery.
the past reviews say it all.
A huge thank you from us who have just enjoyed a great time from 17-04-18 till 21-04-2018
We will be going back to this ideal location

Had a Brilliant weekend here , everything you need, Clean shower and toilet, tv reception , water and leccy, pub close by , fish and chips , lovely meal in The Black swan . Joyce and Paul very friendly and helpful great little site we'll be back ! Thankyou
Had a single night stop here before new year. Fabulous site, with lovely, friendly and helpful owners, wonderful views down to the village of Crich and basic but spotlessly clean facilities.
Will return when the nights are lighter! Thanks.
This has got to be one of the best, if not the best, CL site we have been to. Very friendly and helpful owners, beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely views and great walks. Village shops just a short walk over the fields and offered a huge choice. Very dog friendly. Spotless toilet and shower. Slightly sloping field but blocks available to level caravan if you don't have your own. Each pitch has it's own hook up and water tap. Clean and easy to use waste disposal area. Really faultless site, cannot recommend highly enough.
We have just got back from a fantastic weekend at this lovely site. Paul, Joyce and all their families are so lovely, friendly and helpful. The views are terrific. The toilet and shower are immaculately clean. The site is a tiny bit of a slope but Paul provides wooden blocks if needed so it is no problem and just means the views are even better!!! You can walk to the village of Crich where there are several shops and pubs. The chippy is very good as well.
Thank you Paul and Joyce and we will be back.
