Excellent CL with fully serviced pitches
The site is well laid out and all pitches are fully serviced. Electric is via a meter that takes £1 coins and in July we were using about £2 per day. Coins can be obtained from the cafe during the day. Pitches are level. Very secure with electric gate at entrance. If arriving when the nursery is closed I would recommend calling ten minutes prior to arrival as if the gate is shut and you are towing a caravan, you will partially block the road.
There is a lovely cafe and the toilets are available day and night. Good Wi-Fi is also available for free.
There is some aircraft noise from time to time but this did not disturb us.
Owners are very friendly and helpful.
If you like bird watching, the area seems to be a hot spot for red kites.
Shops are nearby and there is a caravan shop in Royston with a good selection of spares.
I can’t fault this site and would highly recommend.
