A lovely surprise!

Visited this CL at the beginning of September, booked for a one night halt but stayed three nights in our motorhome on the well mown grass. Geraldine has provided a concrete hard standing near the gate if required. Lots of information provided to enjoy the surrounding area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October and was truly impressed. The site is impeccably maintained, fantastic views, and so much to do around the local area. This CL is a true gem, and is run to a very high standard, a return visit is inevitable....

An excellent CL

We really enjoyed our 3 night late October stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. The pitches are spacious and have great views of the hills. Owner Geraldine is very hospitable and has become a friend. She provides a couple of bikes free to explore the area and lots of info about what to do and see. She also has a little family craft shop on site. I recommend the knitted sheep tea cosies and the wooden honey spoons and small wooden pots! But there are other interesting items, too. We will be back....

Lovely CL!

Just returned from 5 nights stay. Most spacious cl we have stayed on. Very peaceful, Lovely views of Breiden Hill, biked along the canal to Welshpool and on to Powys castle (fab), visited Glansevern gardens, biked around lake Vyrnwy (beautiful). Climbed up to Rodney's Pillar..wow., what  views! It's 2 1/2 miles to Powys arms pub (Pool Quay) reasonably priced meals/drinks. Geraldine very helpful, loved the 'crafts' on sale. Definatley recommend this new site and will return. Book it....you won't be disappointed.

Excellent CL With Stunning Views

Absolute Gem of a CL, The owner Geraldine is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for her. Large pitches, fantastic views, so much to do in the area. Her chickens lay great eggs, which we bought from Geraldine, excellent site for families and couples. We will definitely be returning this year, soon we hope. So much to do in the area.

Excellent CL

We had a great few days at this CL where we were welcomed by Geraldine and the chickens. We needed to use the hardstanding as the field was rather soggy, but nothing was too much trouble for this wonderful, helpful owner. It's a peaceful CL with plenty of space. Plan to return later in the year. Good places to visit nearby: Rodney's Pillar and Welshpool with its NT Powis Castle. Good walks on river Severn and canal towpath. Highly recommended.

Excellent CL

Meadow Cottage is a lovely peaceful site with excellent views and plenty to do in the area. Geraldine must be one of the most helpful owners we have met and went beyond the call of duty to help us when the weather made pitching very difficult. We will definitely be returning soon.

A Fantastic CL

Just had a lovely 4 night stay at this CL. Stayed with my husband and 2 children age 12 and 13 years. The owner Geraldine is so kind, helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for her. She has excellent knowledge of lots of things to do in the local area. We enjoyed lots of free fun, walked along Offa's Dyke, climbed Breiden Hill to see Rodney's Pillar where there were excellent views of the surrounding countryside and lastly visited a waterfall. Site has lovely views and is very quiet and peaceful. Lastly we must mention Geraldine's lovely chickens and the lovely fresh eggs available to purchase. We loved it so much the children voted to return for a longer break at Easter. We can't wait to come back!
