Lovely site; narrow but OK access road as met no traffic; friendly and helpful owner; warm welcome; only slight drawback was the tight turn through the gate at the entry to the field - widen or re-locate?

Great site & a great location

We have just returned from a 4 night break at Meadow Cottage over the August bank holiday weekend. The site is in a great location with lots to do in the area. For us, walking was our preference and we had plenty of choice. The site is well kept, level and the grass was cut regularly. Geraldine, the owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We cannot believe we were the only people there given the quality of the site and its location. Really is worth a visit, we would not hesitate to return. Many thanks

Lovely site

A real treat finding this one. Lovely views, charming owner and we had 5 lovely nights here earlier in the month. If you are in the area, don't miss it! Other reviews have expressed so many other benefits and we endorse them all. Hope to return!

A Gem

We stayed here last week for 5 nights. Had planned on staying only 4! Warm welcome grom Geraldine. We decided to come here to surprise some friends of ours who were going to be stay on this site also. Geraldine kept it to herself and even locked one of the access gates when they were due to arrive so that they would enter the site from the other direction and not see our car (which they would recognise more easily than the van. The surprise worked, thank you Geraldine. Great stay. We will be back.......

Beautiful site

This is the most peaceful site with beautiful scenery, you are made so welcome on arrival,we bought fresh laid eggs and homemade marmalade. The pigmy goats are gorgeous little characters, The chickens are very handsome. Plenty to do around this area, the little railway today and powis castle tomorrow. Only here for 2 nights but will be back to this lovely site for more exploring. TRISHA Brown

Perfect .

Just spent a week at this spacious site. Plenty of room between the flat pitches. Very warm welcome from Geraldine on arrival with plenty of useful information about the area etc. Loads to see & do in the area including Rodneys' Pillar which you can see from the site & if feeling energetic well worth the climb to the top with spectacular 360 degrees views. We didn't get to see everything in our week there so we shall be returning & look forward to seeing the pygmy goats that Geraldine is getting shortly to go with the chickens that produce some very nice eggs that you can purchase. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary Geraldine.

What A Find

If you like peace and tranquility with a stunning view this is the CL for you. The site is level with the added bonus of lots of space between pitches. The approach lane is narrow but mainly straight with good visibility. We received a friendly welcome from the owner Geraldine who is very knowledgeable with regards local places of interest. We will definitely visit again.
