Early Spring Visit

This is a fine spacious CL with both grass and H/S pitches, free WiFi and open views, sheltered on one side by the farm's barns. The site is easily accessed from the A141 Huntingdon bypass and about 3 mls from the A14. Although there was some traffic noise in the mornings it did not bother us. The owners are very friendly and helpful, offering us the use of their O/S maps marked up with places of interest and pubs to visit. There is a good dog walk around the fields and there are footpaths from the village that provided us with pleasant walks. The nearest supermarket is a Tesco at Huntingdon and a soon to be opened Lidl. At ST Ives, 6 mls away, there is a P&R where one can catch the bus into Cambridge, although unforunately it has height barriers which prohibit M/Hs from using it. There are many interesting places close by, and the nearest N/T properties are Houghton Mill and Ramsay Abbey Gatehouse. We will certainly use this site again as we've not managed to visit all the places we wanted to in the area.

Brilliant with a last minute booking

Having been let down by the site we had booked we rang at 5pm on a bank holiday Monday looking for a pitch. The response on the telephone and on arrival was obliging and friendly. The site is well spaced out and we had a choice of location well away from the units already pitched. It is surrounded  by fields and has plenty of dog walking from site and is well cared for. Well worth a visit and I'm sure we will return.

Well presented CL on the edge of a small village

We stayed here at manor farm Mid March 13 for 9 nights. The CL is very well maintained with lawn like grass where also the grass clippings are collected so we had no cuttings in the van at all. The rest of the CL is well maintained to the highest standards. Clean & Tidy. We were out in the area most days walking and found it a good base to stay. Just two minor down points the elsen emptying is across the road but its a good point with concrete surrounding area nice and clean. The other point although the CL is not on top of a road you do get some traffic noise worse if the wind is blowing from that direction. We only saw the owners on one occasion when w e paid  but it was obvious they had been about as the bins were emptied daily. We would return here again to use this CL it looked a picture with all the daffodils out

Comment from The Club

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Just a quick update from the CL owners. They are really delighted you enjoyed their site and that you returned to stay here again. They would like to advise that the waste emptying point is now located on site for easy access. I hope this helps and thanks again for leaving a review.

The best CL of the district

A quiet CL at the very edge of the village only spoilt by the noise from the 'rat run' on weekday mornings but this is countered by the warm welcome received from Roy and Mary. The combination of hard standings and grass means that there is choice of pitches not encroaching on other outfits. Sometimes I have received terrestrial digital TV on the old analogue aerial Have visited this CL many times and will continue to do so
