3 night stay

Only a short walk into Ingleton and lovely walks; site enjoys pleasant views of Ingleborough and surroundings, Entrance to site not easy best approach from Kirby Lonsdale direction also not easy to leave driving a front wheel drive car - stalled a couple of times wheels spinning could be improved with a hard concrete or tarmac surface. also areas of farm a bit untidy . Owners very welcoming and obliging

A lovely CL

We have just returned home having spent 4 nights on this lovely CL. We initially booked 3 nights, stayed for 4 and wished we could have stayed for longer. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The site was neat and tidy and there is more than enough room on the site for 5 caravans to pitch without much levelling required. A previously mentioned issue by a reviewer regarding bins was not an issue for us or others on the site. There was plenty of room in the bins and they were obviously emptied regularly. Despite the rain which fell before and during our stay we had no problems gettng on & off the site or manouvering the caravan. The site is just a few minutes walk by road or through the fields from Ingleton which has shops, pubs and fish and chips. The view from the site is lovely. What more could we want? We hope to return before too long.

Great CL

I went to this site a number of years ago for the first time and just returned this year one of them gems that I had unfortunately forgotten about (for some strange reason) thankfully I rediscovered it again this year, Ill be returning VERY soon this time. Its a very nice site, nice views across to Inglebrough, short walk into Ingleton across the farms fields the farmer gave us the simple directions and what a pleasant walk. Ingleton is a nice unspoilt dales market town and the waterfalls walk is well worth a visit.

Great site

Recently spent a week at this lovely CL. Good size field with plenty of room for 5 vans. Nice walk across the fields to the river and also continue to Ingleton, (2 mile round trip approx). Take notice of directions to the site, fairly narrow entrance into farm road and when passing farm house. Steep gravel road leads down to field CL. Grass could have been a bit shorter, luckily it was dry.

Aaaah!

Just returned home after a few days at Lundholme and we feel totally relaxed. We thought the adjacent road might be a bit noisy but it never bothered us even at night. We just felt totally at peace on this beautiful site and it is just as described. Try the Country Kitchen just up the road for a lovely meal or shop in the super deli. Finally just a warning to anyone coming from the east be careful when turning into the farm between two lovely copper beeches - just take it easy as there is not a lot of room!!!

Great CL

We stayed here in June 14. As the owners say the site is spacious and you have easy access to water, electrics etc. I loved watching the calves, sheep and lambs in the adjacent fields and the views across the dales are great. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk into the village which has several pubs serving food along with a good selection of cafes for tea and cake. During our stay we did the waterfalls walk which we really enjoyed but note there is a £6pp charge for this. We will happily return to this lovely CL.

Beautiful LocalPlacesOfInterest

Sorry for the delay in writing this review. We visited this site for a long weekend 12th to 14th April. This was our first stay on a CL but we are now hooked. The site is peaceful, the view of Ingleborough from our van was a great bonus. Water, electric and waste emptying all close at hand. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We will return.
