Decide to spend New Year's Eve away in the Van and chose Lundholme as we wanted to climb Ingleborough on New Year's Day. Definitely a good choice! Yes, the entry to the site is tight but doable with care. Site is in a great location with an easy walk either via the road foothpath or riverside path into Ingleton. Site facilities excellent, very warm and clean. Ingleton itself provides lots of opportunities for eating and drinking and great access to the surrounding countryside. Will definitely return.
Nothing too much trouble, fantastic site.
We have stayed here twice in the last year and will definitely be calling again. It is a lovely, clean and well kept site. Yes it is a bit narrow around the farmhouse upon entry but we manoeuvred our 32ft American motorhome with little effort so most outfits should enter with ease. Nothing is too much trouble, Malcolm even towed our trailer carrying our Goldwing down onto the site to make it easier for us. The recent addition of the new toilet block is lovely and has been completed to a high standard. Malcolm and Hilary have thought of everything from separate showers, toilets and even cubicles containing both. Ingleton village is nearby and the walk around the Ingleton Waterfall trail is wonderful. The weather was mainly very good so many a BBQ was had. We stayed on one of the 2 super pitches on the CL site which was a bonus having electric, water and waste disposal. This site is in a great location for visiting the dales. We had the most amazing cream tea in Hawes and visited Kendal, Morecombe, Kirby Lonsdale and many more great places. Until the next time......

Needs more work
This was our second visit to the site, ingleton is a short walk and is a beautiful place, the masons arms is a good pub (dog friendly), there is a farm shop within walking distance and views on site are amazing.
The entrance of the site isn't great as it is narrow and the road could do with some attention.
The toilet block is still not ready and was started 2 years ago.
The walk to the pub could be made better as the grass is very long and if wet you get very wet.
The walk by the river is lovely but again could be worked on as slightly dangerous in parts.
The pitches on the new part are extremely close together not enough room... more thought could have gone into layout.
TV reception is poor not good and we couldn't access the wifi from the house.
Charging ÂŁ20 per night now is very steep with all the issues...it was worth ÂŁ15 but I won't return for ÂŁ20 there are other local sites offering more value for money.
First visit to this cl
Nice open site once you get through the approach. The entrance is tight, mind the trees either side. Narrow through the farmyard before you go down to the cl. Hardstandings with water and electric to each pitch. Small site of 9 pitches over the wall from the cl. Some noise from the main A65 and there is some building work going on at the farm which was quite bad at times. They are opening a shower and toilet block on the other site which is not up and running yet. The bus stops outside the farm if requested either to Kirkby Lonsdale or Skipton. The site fee is going up to ÂŁ20 which we think is quite expensive.
Just had a lovely two-day stay with my Son
Just had a lovely two-day stay with my Son. The owners, Malcolm and Hilary were very welcoming and hospitable, we also had a very interesting tour of the farm. Lots of fun was had skimming stones in the river (which was over the field), going for walks and visiting the nearby attractions, such as - White Scar Cave and the Ingleton water falls. The Masons pub is only 10 mins walk and does a nice pub meal & pint. Overall - a lovely, relaxing and enjoyable stay with lots to do in the area and run by a friendly family. We will be staying there again.

What more could you want
We stayed for a week over New Year. Great setting, working farm. Plenty to visit. Very reasonable site fee for a fully serviced pitch. What more would you want. Some noise from main road but not bad. Follow the access instructions. Turn right into the site from M6 or go past the site and turn back at the County Harvest car park - very easy to do assuming they are open! Left turn would be very challenging.
Definitely one to return to.
Great site
This is a great cl site, we are having 2 nights, beautifully set out pitches and on the next field 9 lovely well thought out pitches, fully serviced which is a bonus for our motorhome, the views are lovely and it is a joy to see the farm animals just in the next field. The whole site has been made very simpathetic to the surrounding areas. When the toilet block is up and running that will be great. We ha a lovely short walk over the fields to the village and the mason arms for dinner, excellent. The owners of this site are very helpful , a big advantage for us is the hard standings as we are out in our van all winter . Yes we will love coming back to this site Trisha &David

Don't bang the van!!
We have just spent 6 days over the May bank holiday weekend, and were fortunate to have great weather. Please be very careful when entering the site as there are two oak trees either side of the entrance which is not very wide, so please give them a wide berth. Traveling from Ingleton you need to swing over the road a bit to ensure you can enter reasonable straight. On exiting the site with the van attached you find the exit is quite steep and the road has an amount of lose shale. Probably OK with 4x4 but with a normal car we did not take any chances, with my wife going onto the road to control traffic.
Our host was very helpful and friendly. All CL pitches have electric and mains water and it would have been nice to have a grey water drain. To the rear of the site behind the CL dividing wall the owners have just put in a further 7 full service pitches which will be run commercially. The views are good but there is some road noise from a busy road. We enjoyed our stay here and the Masons mentioned in other reviews is an excellent pub..

Gorgeous little site!
We recently stayed 2 nights at Lundholme Farm - and we can't wait to go back. It's accessed through the farm and is tucked away off the road. The site is beautifully kept and has amazing views across to Ingleborough. Ingleton village is just a few minutes walk away and you can either walk down the main road (there is a pavement) or across the field to the river and onto the metal road bridge. There is also a butchers, café & shop called Country Harvest just a couple of hundred metres away (this was where we turned round to go back to the site). The site has all hard standings with EHU & water on each pitch; there is an easily accessible waste point and free Wi-Fi is available; TV signal is good (if you can tear your eyes away from the view!). Dogs are allowed but there are sheep in the surrounding fields so dogs do need to be kept under control. To sum up, this is a gorgeous little site with very friendly owners. I will just say the main road is very busy - but it didn't disturb us at all. Tip: follow the direction details as it's very difficult to turn left into the site off the main road.
