Fantastic site.

We have just returned after 10 perfect days at Lower Liston. It is our 4th year running and we have booked again for next year. We can’t fault the site. Graham and Andrea are perfect hosts and the facilities are immaculate.

Nice site, but too many units

This is a great site, but spoilt during our stay by there being too many caravan units in what is a fairly small space. On arrival there were five occupied spaces, and one empty van. The next day a sixth arrived, and the empty unit was filled, making a total of seven units. Today it dropped to six, but two more vans have parked up just outside the entrance to this field, so we have eight units. We choose cl's because we like an uncrowded, laid back site. So, the rules are being broken, but we are also not allowed to put a windbreak up!

Lovely Site

Just returned from this lovely site, equal to any club site that we have stayed at. Graham and his wife were very keen to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The facilities are as good if not better than some main sites. The Owners must want to pull their hair out sometimes because they have tried to make it so nice and clearly we the customers fail to read the notices. Ie a perfectly placed dog bin in the exercise area somebody was too lazy to pick up their dogs poo and I stood on it, could so easily be taken back into your caravan via your shoe. Not very thoughtful. Somebody else took no notice of the clear instructions for recycling card board, and just shoved a large box into the wrong bin. We look forward to staying at this site again, it is secure and very peaceful and easily reached off the A350.

Another visit to an Excellent CL.

Have just returned to this CL. I cannot express how good this site is. Graham sets very high standards and we will visit again.

Long weekend

We arrived at this beautiful site and we were met by Graham the owner at the gate,who was very friendly and welcoming.He showed us to our pitch and explained everything that we needed to know.Graham was very informative and talked to us about the local area and advised us of the best area for cycling.The site is absolutely immaculate with fully serviced pitches and a lovely view across the fields.There is a toilet block with showers that was absolutely spotless.This is one of the best cl’s we have stayed on and would highly recommend it.We will definitely be returning.

Top of the league CL

This cl is more like a small Caravan Club site infact better than some. The facilities were excellent electric , water and grey water drain all on the hard standing pitch. There were good washing up and toilet emptying facilities. The shower block was heated which was great on cold mornings and they were spotlessly clean.Graham and his wife were really friendly and welcoming. There are lots of things to see and do in the area. Thoroughly recommended A+++++++.

Really Good CL 100% recommended

One of the very best CL sites we’ve stayed at with both grass and hard standing pitches. Lots of wildlife, we saw 3 deer just 50 metres from our pitch, and never seen so many birds on our bird feeders. The owner Graham made us both feel very welcome and he takes a real pride in making sure everything on site was perfect for our stay. Will certainly call here again.

A CL to match the best Club sites

This site offers full service pitches, quality toilets and excellent views. There is a train route nearby but not intrusive. Graham obviously sets out to provide the best possible service whilst running the farm with horses and sheep, a dog groomers, horse riding (not tried). We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay and recommend unreservedly.

The most peaceful site we have visited

We have just returned from a seven night stay at this most glorious site, friendly owners, excellent facilities , outstanding views from all pitches overlooking farmland where deer can be seen, bird feeders provided so a constant flurry of feathered friends visit. This has been the most relaxing break we’ve had in a long time, thank you Graham and Andrea we are definitely booking for next year.

Overnight Stay

We only stayed one night for visiting relatives in Shaftesbury, but would have stayed longer.Graham was a very welcoming & helpful owner.Good location for visiting the surrounding area.The facilities were top class and perfectly maintained.Would not hesitate to return.
