Such a Charming Site!

What a great find! John was very welcoming to his lovely CL which is located near the heart of the pretty town of Thame, yet still retained a rural feel with sheep in the next field, red kites flying overhead and a river at the end of the level site. Access is easy and the site is very spacious & well kept. It was an easy flat walk into town which has lots of pubs, restaurants, shops & a great Tuesday market. Also there is an express bus stop 3 mins from the site to take you into Oxford. I would highly recommend this site and look forward to returning soon.

Fabulous CL

John was friendly & welcome. Spacious, peaceful site with flat pitches throughout. Easy access to Thame by foot. Resident hens wandering around the site. Definitely plan to return.

An enjoyable six night stay

This is a lovely site with a friendly and helpful owner. Well tended grassed pitches with mature trees and flowing water on the boundaries. Very secure with automated gates and such easy access to Thame shopping centre. A Waitrose is an easy walk away. We also enjoyed the Phoenix Way on our bicycles. Highly recommended.

Fabulous site

Lashlake Barn CL is a fabulous gem of a site, it is so pretty with the river and trees. The site is level and the grass well mown, lots of space between each pitch. Very tranquil and the owner was so helpful and welcoming. The site is wonderfully secure and so close to town, only a few minutes from Waitrose and the main street of Thame which is a delightful town to visit. We are looking forward to our next visit, Thank you,

Relaxing Oasis

Lovely CL ! Perfectly placed for a 10 minute walk into Thame. Nice large flat field, so loads of space between pitches. Grass pitches very well manicured. Electric and water available at each pitch, electric is metered. Pay on entry please, pay for metered electric by cash in honesty box on exit. Dogs on leads only as Chickens and resident cats roam the site. Kites fly above you as you sit and relax in the sunshine ( yes, we were lucky ). Entrance through electric gates. Ring to book is the preferred method. Thame is a lovely town to wander around with numerous pubs and eateries. Enjoying our stay immensely, the sunshine is a bonus !

Superb find

We have just spent 4 nights at Lashlake Barn and were his first visitors of the season due to the very wet spring. I’m a bit reluctant to review the site as I don’t want too many people to know how good it is! It’s a great find in a very rural setting yet so close to Thame and all its lovely amenities. We spent a couple of days in Oxford which we accessed by bus. The service is excellent and the bus stop is just 2 minutes from the site. We plan to return!

A really lovely cl

We have just had our first visit to Lashlake Barn and really loved it. A warm welcome from John with lots of useful information. Beautifully kept and the river running at the bottom of the site. Loved the chickens mooching about. A lovely easy walk into town, we did the town trail, the museum and visited Robin Gibbs grave. Bus stop nearby with buses to Oxford and Aylesbury but we ran out of time, We will definitely return.will definitely return. Thank you John.
