Excellent CL

Spent 2 nights here in June, directions were a little hard to follow but we found it eventually. Site is superb with it's own woods and lots of vely dog walk. Very peaceful and tranquil. Walked to Port Mellon which wasn't far at all, great little coffee/wine stop 'The Shack' on the front, then continued on to Mevagissey, the walk into Meva directly from site is steep yes... But not for a long stretch! What's not to like about walking along Cornish Country lanes with their beautiful hedgerows, flora and fauna. Highly recommend this cl.

A Little Piece of Heaven

Just Spent 7 nights at Kerthua Park, what a beautiful and tranquil site. Such a relaxing site. There is a beautiful meadow in front of the pitches where you can see countless butterflies & bees. The pitches are excellent and very large. Lovely setting with so many places within easy reach on foot. We will return soon to this Beautiful Site. Thank You

Superbly peaceful

Great site, friendly owners, immaculate huge pitches. Dogs loved the woodland walk. The local walk into mevagissey was great ans easily accessible to lots of places and beaches. It was utter bliss, one of the best sites we've been to. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous and friendly

We have just stayed here for 5 nights. This is a fabulous little site - the pitches are spacious and spotlessly clean. The setting is really tranquil and pretty. The owner Mark was super - really friendly and helpful. Our lab just loved the meadow and woodland. The walk into Mevagissy took about 30 mins but is really quite a puff upwards on the return journey. We will definitely return. This was our first stay on a CL and we LOVED it!

It's a Cracker!

We stayed here for 10 days in May. Couldn't fault the site if we wanted to. The pitches are generous and mostly hard standings, all pitches have water as well as electric. It is all very well maintained by the owners. We only met Mark and was always welcoming and friendly. Even the weather was excellent!

Superb, quiet, neat and tidy site.

A very tranquil site with fine rural views. The pitches are mainly hard standing with each pitch having water and an electrical hookup. The bins and waste disposal are undercover and are kept very neat and tidy. The owners Mark and Jo are helpful and welcoming. There is an attractive pond area with a seat and a small wood for dog walking. We walked to Mevagissy harbour from the site, it takes about 30 minutes (steep uphill on the way back!) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan is a short 5 minute drive. There are plenty of beaches to choose from in the area and St Austell has a good choice of supermarkets. This is altogether a superb little site and we will return no doubt.

Peaceful site

We have just returned from a visit to this CL site which is a credit to the relatively new owners. It has been improved by them with hard standing pitches which are serviced individually with electric and water points. The grey waste and rubbish area are under a roofed area that is well managed and maintained. The pitches are well maintained and easy to access, you can put up an awning without a problem, although steel pegs would be advisable. The site was quiet and very peaceful with a small wood, it is very near to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and is signposted from the main B road. The owners communication when booking gives directions into the site which should be followed. Entrance onto the site from the narrow Cornish lane was easy, although on our arrival it was very very wet and as you drive straight onto the grass from the gravel entrance that has a small gradient you need to be mindful of keeping a steady slow pace until the whole unit is on the level. Communications with the owners after booking was excellent, we were pleased to meet the owners who came to our pitch after we had set up to introduce themselves and talk us through the site facilities, local walks and pubs. All very helpful. Our thanks and appreciation to the owners.

Very well manicured site

Site owners very friendly took time out for a chat with us. We think this site is one of the best CL sites on the network pitches are perfect water on tap with hook up just like being on a mini Club Site. Not a weed in sight on the hard standings & very flat, grass is cut everything is very tidy. Toilet waste disposal & recycle bins are also very well set up under roof covered area. The site has it's own wooded area great for letting the dog off. The last approach to the site entrance is down the lane however very very seldom see any traffic therefore assess is easy, we managed to drive our 5m car & 7.5m caravan into the site without any bother the site gate is set back from the lane, use Google maps & GPS to locate the site entrance 50.265628, -4.811021. If going out and about always turn right out of the site as the lane if turning left does become very narrow. Gorran Haven is a short drive away nice but can be busy, if your planning to have a day on the beach at Gorran Haven would be worth using a beach trolley if you have a lot of kit as the car park is about 200 meters away. Mevagissey is within walking distance 1/2 hr more or less on that note as already said don't take any notice of your sat nav ! even with the settings for caravans the naff still has a go at sending you into Mevagissey, we call our sat nav SAT NAFF follow the Clubs directions and we were fine. Great site and great owners we will be back !

Beautiful site

Beautiful site with choice of grass or hardstanding pitch. Lots of hard work been done to create a beautiful peaceful atmosphere with well kept pitches. Pitches pre allocated so beware as we originally set up on the wrong pitch but owners are very friendly and welcoming. Will return

CREDIT TO NEW OWNERS - LOVELY SITE

We spent a lovely two weeks at Kerthua Park and could not fault it. The owners Mark and Jo were really nice and friendly. We visited twelve years ago and loved it then, but now it is even better. The new hardstanding pitches are a great size and very neat and tidy, lovely place to sit outside and watch the horses and wildlife (Also an option to have an all grass pitch). Nice clean Elsan point and bin area and the grass cut regularly. The dog walk (wood) is now absolutely brilliant, our Golden Retriever’s loved it, lots to explore and appreciated it even more when it was hot as lots of shade for them. Plenty of supermarkets within a short drive and lovely walks from site, we particularly liked the walks to Portmellon and to Mevagissy. Follow directions given by Owners, do NOT try to go through Mevagissy!
