Best kept secret site

This is a winner. We had a really difficult time accessing the site due to the single land traffic and lack of passing places. Be warned - you may need to reverse on these lanes so if you tow a car behind your motorhome on an A frame DISCONNECT IN ADVANCE. Once at the site though all your stress will disappear. Lovely big grass pitches with water and electric. Lovely lovely views. Horses and ponies on site. Plenty of space with screening between pitches. Amazing. Easy journeys to Mevagissy by foot or car. Pubs and restaurants galore in this unspoilt fishing village. We also drove to Fowey for the day. Beautiful. This is a lovely site and we will happily risk meeting up with those somewhat angry fast drivers that sped toward us on those little country lanes. The owners were very welcoming.

Just Right

We wanted the best of both worlds: Tranquility and ease of access to surrounding attractions such as: Pubs, beaches, walks and cycling. This site provided that. No sea view though, except from the top of the site. The site is part of a large open field surrounded by woods and hedges which helped give us much needed shelter during our stormy stay here in early October 16. The pitches were also further separated by trees and shrubs. Each pitch has its own water tap with more than adequate pressure. There is an electric hook up post for each pitch too. Access is along a mile long lane which is narrow at times. It would have been interesting if we had met another caravan unit coming the other way. That life around these parts though. Nice people to deal with and would like to return. Recommended.

Annual Fortnight.

What a fantastic site. So peaceful. All of the pitches are in individual bays with water and electricity supply. These provide you with privacy rather than isolation. Very easy to get to but do follow the directions to the site. The owners were very easy to get on with and left a pitch listing on the gate so you knew which pitch to go to. We would definitely use this site again when we return to Cornwall. Thank you.

Ideal for Mevagissey

Handy for Mevagissey.  Lovely village.  The field was good with ponies in the paddock next door.  Very quiet.

Lovely site

The owners have made a lot of effort of make this an enjoyable site. Although very wet when we visited for 10 days. we have just returned, we managed very well. individual bays, cut grass and electric and water points on each bay.

Back to basics.

As with other reviewers we found the site to be very peaceful, just the odd tractor rumbling past. Lovely large pitches with water and electric on them with a panoramic view of the Cornish countryside from every pitch. Just make sure you follow the directions to the site given in the handbook.

Very Special Place

Just returned from 11 nights at this fantastic CL. Road to the site is a typical Cornish lane, a little narrow, but not at all busy and we did not meet any oncoming traffic on arrival. Our pitch allocation was displayed on board at entrance to site, through gate and down the track to the pitches, which is a little bumpy so take it steady. Huge pitches, electric and water supply to each, and a border of planting between the pitches. Grey water can be drained into hedge at rear of pitches, own water supply, as near as a fully serviced pitch with calling it that. Owners very friendly and helpful, well kept pitches, neatly mowed, and so peaceful. The weather while we were away was terrible, rained for the first 7 days near non stop, and the grass did become a bit water logged, and the track to the last couple of pitches did suffer, but no more than can be expected with the rain we had. In summary, if you want peace, all services close/on pitch, lovely surroundings, and just to simply relax in a little bit of tranquility then this has to be one of the best. If you are lucky enough to get some good Cornish weather when you stay here, you wont want to leave!... We will certainly be going back....

VERY PEACEFUL

This was our first experience of a C.L. and it was perfect for us. Large pitches, a dog walk and views across the countryside. We will return and we are certainly converts to C.L's.

Lovely

This CL is lovely we spent a very wet Easter here but it did not dampen our spirits or enjoyment would defiantly like to return again and would recommend this site to others. Lovely to have your own water tap on your pitch which is a bonus. Plenty of space on each pitch and you are not on top of your neighbours. Owner is very helpful too.
