I stayed for four nights with the lead holder and my big white brother. Really enjoyed Homefield; a small field to walk in with nice short grass and very close to Milford on Sea where I could do more walkies. The meet and greet man Julien was nice and the mowing man (sorry no name acquired) was kind and helpful too.
Everything very tidy. Local artisans just outside the gates where the lead holder bought chocolates and jam but for some reason I could not sample them.
Electric is metered but a very simple system. Water tap and hook up very close to the bus. Thanks Homefield.
A little gem!
A really tidily kept CL, easy access & handy to beaches & towns in the New Forest.
7 pitches to allow maintenance of each, good water supply, 2 toilets, a shower & a useful info room & honesty shop.
Metered electricity which takes £1 & £2 coins, we found this easy, fair & reasonable. Shower is £1 for 10 minutes, enough for 2 showers if you are organised enough!
The owner, Julian, was on holiday himself until our last full day, notes left on a board as to which pitch was allocated, toilets & shower cleaned daily in his absence. The first thing Julian did on his return was to meet us & check everything was ok.
A great CL with lovely wildlife & birds which we will visit again.
Super CL
We stayed at Homefield for four nights and had a great time exploring the New Forest by bike.
It’s one of the best CLs we’ve stayed on, very quiet and peaceful, with good toilets and a shower. Julian, the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The field and picnic site must be great in the summer.
Personally we liked the electric meter system and hope it’s adopted more across club sites.
Lovely jam from Naked Jam and very useful having a calor gas stockist in site too!
Hope to be back very soon.

The Biggest Little CL
We have been staying at this site several times a year since 2019 which we use as a base for visiting nearby friends and family having moved away, so are not typical holiday makers so have a slightly different perspective on the site as we know the surrounding area very well. It is very well placed for all nearby tourist attractions, the nearby town of New Milton has all essential shopping needs covered and the site is easy to access. As most previous reviewers have already mentioned the site is immaculately kept, with toilets & shower cleaned daily, grass well mowed and there are always little improvements each time we return. Julian is very welcoming and always offers to help with any problems. In short it’s an incredibly well run small version of a full sized camp site but with much more peace and quiet.
Top CL
Just visited for a week prior to August BH, all recent reviews are as is. EHU metered at 32p /unit we averaged £2.50 per day using water heater, microwave, fridge and TV which was fine.
Purchased Jam and Marmalade from "Naked Jam" who supply "The Ritz".
Visited The Old Mill PH a must while there using a 10%discount leaflet from the information hut.
Julian was most welcoming, the history of the small holding is most interesting being in the family for generations.
Once visited you will want to return as we will
Thanks Julian
Top notch site
We stayed here for 3 nights in June. This was over and above anything we expected from a CL. Flat hard standing on all pitches. Metered EHU which was ideal for us as we have solar power. WC and shower as well as laundry and washing up area. Shower was £1 for 10 minutes which was more than adequate for washing long hair! Barbecue and pizza area. Picnic tables. Information hut was very well stocked with emergency items and an honesty box as well as lots of information on local tourist attractions and local services. Very quiet even though a few businesses were adjacent to the site - don't let this put you off. Easy to access and pitch up. Julian the owner called round the next morning. The Old Mill pub was idyllic but get details from Julian on a safe walking route. Handy for Lymington and Beaulieu and both worth visiting. Excellent value for money. Our favourite CL to date.
A week in the Sun
Booked a week at this small well maintained site. 2 WCs and 1 shower which cost £1 for 10 minutes with heating. Dated but very clean would have like more pressure on shower but plenty of hot water. BBQs and fireplace for guests to use.
Bus Stop 60m from site with buses to Bournemouth and Lymington only down side last bus from Lymington is 16.30 but later buses from Bournemouth.
Tesco and Aldi 2 miles away in Milton.
We liked it and booked 2 weeks for next August, thank you Julian

Great location for visiting New Forest
Nice site with 8 level hardstandings. We were slightly confused on arrival as the access is shared with entrance and parking for garden machinery workshop. Our pitch was nearest to the workshop and there was some machinery noise during the day and very bright security lights at night. In the summer months it would be lovely to use the fire pit area. The toilets (no hot water to wash hands), shower and laundry area were clean. Great base for exploring the coast and forest. We needed a good supply of pound coins to keep the electric meter fed.

Great Site
This CL has facilities you would normally expect on a larger site. All the pitches are well maintained gravel pitches in various widths, Plenty of taps and electric hook up for all pitches, a service point for motorhomes, Fire pit and plenty of picnic tables available if the weather is good. Toilets, shower, laundry and washing up facilities all clean and well maintained. The small Info hut has a small self service shop with all the essentials, Book, DVD's and games to borrow. we visited in December so it was quiet but even then they checked all the facilities twice a day at least. Very friendly and perfect location for all the forest and local towns like Christchurch, Bournemouth Highcliffe castle and more.
