Great CL

We spent 6 nights here over Easter with our 3 children (age 12, 10 and 8). This site is brilliantly located very near the west side of the M25, M40 and M4 yet it feels a million miles away from London, so peaceful and lots to watch - red kites, lambs, the chicks. The site is not well signed and access is a bit narrow with a few tights turns. We didn't pitch on the field as it was too wet but the owner let us choose from a space in the orchard or the car park of the PYI, we went for the orchard. This site has no toilet or EHU but has good refuge/recycling and the chemical toilet emptying is fine. We were amazed to be the only ones on site the whole time. The owner is very welcoming, accomodating and friendly but not obtrusive and was kind in letting our children help her feed her chicks. We found all the dogs to be friendly and kept well under control. The owner's dog, Daisy, is old and deaf so barks when she see's you but just wants a bit of a fuss. The nearby village of Iver (3/4 minute drive) has Co-op and a play park. While in the area we also visited Osterley Hall, Warner Bros Studios, Windsor Leisure Centre, Central London (taking the Elizabeth line from Langley) and Thorpe Park. All of these are within 30-40 minutes journey from the site. We would happily stay here again if visiting London. Price at April 23 was £17pn.
