Peaceful

A site obviously designed by a club member with clean, tidy facilities, well laid out and security conscious. It was a pleasure watching a Quail with all her brood wandering around the field. Would certainly return if we were in the area again.

Immaculate new CL

We stayed for three nights over the jubilee weekend, two adults in a motorhome. Communication with the owner, Paul, was excellent with quick responses and good clear information. Access is straightforward, although the roads to get to the site are typical Fen roads - very bumpy in places. Paul supplies directions using the best and easiest route. The site is new with five hardstanding pitches, each with electric, and a tap no further than half a pitch away. The grey waste drain was easy to access, although depending on the location of the drain on your motorhome you may need a short extension pipe. The site is in a rural location with views across open fields. There is some traffic noise from the A47, but we didn't find it intrusive. There isn't much in the immediate area. We enjoyed a stroll along the lane and that's about it. But it's very handy for Peterborough, and we found several nature reserves within a few miles which offered a longer walk. Overall a very pleasant stay, we will stay there again when next visiting friends in the area.

A jewel in the fens

Just returned home from 12 nights at Greenacres and couldn’t have been more impressed with site. Paul had sent a text with instructions so accessed site without difficulty. I agree with another reviewer that approach roads are uneven but dropping speed a little made it easier. Site is well laid out and very well maintained, with shared water tap, waste pipe into the hedge, and Wi-Fi, all for £15 a night, great value!! Easy access to local towns, shops and cinema; we visited Peterborough, Kings Lynn, March and Wisbech, including Peckover House. Would recommend Worzals Farm shop, bar, grill and garden centre, great food and plants

2 adults with a dog in a motorhome…

Really lovely, immaculate site with a big field that our dog loved playing on. We stayed for two nights and walked into Wisbech, which was an 18 mile round trip so not for the faint hearted! Nice walk along the river though & the Red Lion pub was a great place to stop for lunch - would definitely stay again, although would probably make sure we both had bikes with us :)

A peice of heaven.

This is a lovely cl. I just had to leave some feedback of our stay. The site is tidy and clean, the grass was kept cut, as were the Hawthorne hedges. The waste and Elsan points were some of the best we have come across, just these little points help to make a perfect holiday. The pitches are large gravel hard standing with a water tap and EHU...The site gate has a coded lock to enter and leave, which makes the site secure. Just one point, take your time on the roads coming to the site as they are very uneven. We visited Wisbech (not keen on this town) Kings Lynn and March, these two we liked. Would we visit again? YES we would.

Peaceful tranquil site in the Fens

We received a text from Paul in the week before arrival. This gave all the necessary arrival info, just as well as the sat nav would have taken us down some barely suitable roads. If peace and tranquillity is what you’re after this is it. A super clean well maintained site with level pitches Wisbech is closet town but King’s Lynn and Peterborough are not too far away.

Lovely site

The site is well maintained with gravel pitches for caravans and motor homes. Very clean and had a good information hut. It was our first run out this season and chose this site due to its proximity to a place of interest to us. Also our first CL site and it will be hard to beat! It is a secure site with two security gates. It was easy to access and the owners were on site when we arrived. Well worth a visit.

Our 1st CL site and we couldn’t have chosen better! Lovely place to stay, friendly owner, good facilities, peaceful and quiet in a lovely field with views across the countryside. Just what we needed and our dog loved it too!
