Perfect...

This is a really lovely CL, and after a quick one night away, we'll definitely be back. Stunning location, around 20 mins walk into Cemaes, with a great mini supermarket at the petrol station nearby. The toilets/showers are absolutely spotless. Most of the pitches are totally level, a long EHU lead preferable. The owners Phil & Sue are lovely welcoming friendly people. Highly recommended.

Definitely return and recommend. Just so relaxing and peaceful. You don’t need a car to access these walks added bonus for motorhomes. Ideal.

A Gem Of A Site & Lovely Owners

Visited here back in July and received a very warm welcome and good info on the area from Phil the owner on arrival. Both Sue & Phil are very friendly but not intrusive and their facilities are spotless and pitches are well spaced. Quiet and peaceful with the sheep to watch for amusement. It’s well positioned and near enough to walk into Cemaes Bay village and take advantage of the coastal path. Also the nature reserve is also walkable. A well stocked shop come petrol station is on the doorstep too. Highly recommend, 👍👍👍

Motorhome under 8 metres

What a little gem of a site. Phil & Sue were so welcoming to their CL site, set at the back of their small holding, including sheep and chickens. Great size pitches EHU & water. Exceptionally clean showers and toilets and very easy to cycle to the town of Cemas and local area walks. Site relatively flat, just needed chocs for balancing but lots of room so no issue. Motorhome under 8 metres, access not an issue. Really good value for money.

Amazing site - highly recommended

Just returned from this beautiful site where we were delighted with the excellent facilities, scrupulously clean toilets and showers and fabulous hosts who clearly work tirelessly to manage their small holding and the best site we’ve been on this season. Phil and Sue are fab hosts and offer helpful tips and guidance to ensure that you have a great stay and can enjoy the area. The site is perfectly situated to take advantage of the local area with beautiful bays like Cemlyn and Camaes within walking distance. Highly recommended

Fabulous site and lovely owners

All the other reviews mention what a friendly, hard working couple Phil and Sue are and it’s true. The site is grassy, flat and well kept, the shower facilities are excellent and scrupulously clean. The site is part of a small holding so lambs in the next field, a couple of ducks and chickens provide delicious free range eggs. Surrounded by countryside and a short (5minute) drive or 30 minute walk to a couple of really quiet swimming beaches. Right on a main bus route which is great for accessing sections of the coastal path or local towns and villages if you don’t want to drive. I did think about not writing a review so we could keep this peaceful oasis to ourselves.

A jewel in the crown.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this wonderful CL. We found Phil and Sue very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our pitch was wonderful with fantastic views across the countryside, and water and electric point close by. The shower and toilet facilities were almost home from home. The site is ideally placed for touring the area, the fresh eggs from the site were very tasty, and the nearby garage also houses a shop selling a wide variety of products you may require. A wonderful site run by wonderful people which we would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of North Wales. Colin And Margaret.

Perfect Week

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Gorphwysfa, what a stunning CL. The owners Sue and Phil are a very hardworking couple and couldn't be more helpful. The toilets and showers are an absolute credit to them as is the lovely, well maintained field - perfect for putting an awning on! 5 minute drive to nature reserve and stunning coastal paths. Well stocked shop/petrol station close by. We will return - thank you :)
