Home from Home.

Well what can I say that has say that has not already been said!!! From the moment I phoned to book in We were treated better than royalty. every thing was explained and all help offered to us.As my wife is registered blind and I am deaf this was very much appreciated. Each pitch was like a super pitch with your own water supply and all other amenities are close by. All bins for recycling were clearly marked (Other sites PLEASE note). All pitches are on gravel but if you prefer to be on grass just ask Mike and you can be accommodated. There is also a very large field which is can be used for a dog walking or exercising where the grass is cut to make this more interesting. We look forward to joining Mike & Jackie again for a longer stay very soon. Gerald Janice & Chip.

First Class Site

We had a wonderful few days at this site. The thought and effort that has gone into making and maintaining the site is clear to see, making it a pleasure to visit - I can only endorse all the positive comments made by other reviewers. Well done indeed.

Glanrhos farm camping was the best ever

Jackie and Mike were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. We felt genuinely welcomed. Jackie and Mike enjoy their work and it shows in how they treat their customers. The site is very peaceful and everything you could ask for for a relaxing stay. They gave us great advice on local beaches and beauty spots which was spot on. Thanks Mike and Jackie for looking after us on our first visit. We will definitely be back. Excellent hosts

What stands out about this CL is how organised and helpful Jackie and Mike are. I've never had a folder full of really useful information from any other CL owners before: brilliant idea! The site has good hardstandings for motorhomes, water on each pitch, lots of plants to separate pitches, good recycling facilities and a great field for dog walking. It's well situated for visits in the area: Aberaeron is a little Georgian gem with a great town trail to show off various places of interest (Jackie and Mike provide a booklet about in their folder) and New Quay is a good place to head to for a coastal walk.

Utopia

The owners of this delightful CL (Jackie and Michael) can't do enough for you, what a breath of fresh air it has been to have stayed here with such a delightfull couple always available but not 'in your face'. Great for local area visits (Newquay, Aberaeron etc.) and some good food available at local pubs. A well layed out CL with room for everyone great for access and suitable for all, can't wait to return. Best wishes to you both, Bob & Kath Benson

Outstanding Site

This is a very easy to find site with excellent access from the main road. We were given a warm welcome by the owners who are clearly very customer focused and have established a most pleasant site which they run very efficiently. Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space (2 fields) in which to exercise dogs. This CL is an example of what represents a 5 star site. Highly recommended.

EXCELLENT CL

Having fitted us in after a last minute cancellation, Jacky and Michael were from the point of first phone contact, arrival and throughout our stay a very lovely helpful couple. Helped us to set up after a traumatic first night on another site. Continued throughout the holiday to maintain helpful friendly contact every day. Lots of advice about the surrounding areas and amenities even providing each van with an information file regards beaches, restaurants, shops etc. Been caravanning 28 years and never experienced such a Welcome , help and support to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. Will definitely be returning. As another reviewer pointed out meeting Jacky and Michael was like meeting old friends. Nothing too much trouble. Well Done Jacky and Michael on a job very well done. I am sure your CL although in its infancy will grow from strength to strength. xx

Best CL experience so far!

We have just spent a week at the Glanrhos CL and didn't want to leave. Well behaved dogs are welcome, and our two spaniels loved playing "fetch the ball" in the big field adjacent to the site. The site is easy to access, beautifully maintained and the scenery is stunning, with lovely sea views (about 3 miles away). There is no shower/toilet block on site, there's hard-standing for each pitch, EHU and easy access to tap water, as well as waste and recycling facilities. Mike and Jackie made us feel as welcome as old friends when we arrived, and we left feeling that we'd made two new friends. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always quick to offer assistance; a kind and generous couple, who want everyone to enjoy their beautiful CL, and we did! We loved every minute of our holiday and will definitely be returning.

Our first visit to a CL may have spoilt us for anywhere else. Lovely.

Despite caravaning for many years, this was our first ever visit to a CL. Glan rhos is very easy to find just follow the directions given by the owners; no narrow lanes or tight turnings here. The CL itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained and is clearly a labour of love. There is a distànt sea view and countryside views all around. It is relaxed and peaceful. As noted by other reviewers, pitches are spacious and divided by nicely landscaped areas. There is electric and water directly on each pitch. The pictures on here don't do it justice. And yes, we managed to pick a few strawberries! Michael and Jackie are so welcoming, we were made to feel like old friends rather than paying guests and were invited into their home for a brew when we had set up. Michael makes an excellent cup of coffee. Jackie had prepared an information file on local beaches and amenities. We had forgotten to bring a cable for our TV and they kindly lent us one. Nothing is too much bother. Although we had neither with us, there is more than ample room for children and dogs. There are some beautiful beaches in the area. We would definitely come back and recommend highly.
