Peaceful stays?

A nice site in a beautiful area, large individual pitches with electric and water, fantastic dog walk, friendly and helpful owners, but, the site is on a busy road and traffic noise was quite a problem for us.

A WONDERFUL CL

We returned home from Glanrhos Farm today after 7 wonderful days and nights. On arrival our pitch was clearly marked. Then we hit a slight problem in that our motor mover wouldn't work and we are not very confident when it comes to reversing the caravan onto a pitch. No need to to worry though, Mike came to our rescue and easily and effortlessly reversed our van exactly where we wanted it, A HUGE thank you for that. Then once we had settled both he and Jackie came to say hello with some delicious fresh free range eggs and info on the local area. Mike was always on hand to answer any questions or for a chat and he told us about a lovely little cove with a dog friendly beach and a fresh water pool, that became our favourite place. The dog walk is the best we have ever encountered and judging by the way our dogs behaved they loved it as well. Mike and Jackie work hard on this CL and it shows. It is a little piece of heaven. Thank you Mike and Jackie for all your help.

Michael & Jackie Doyle have created this fantastic site. A haven of peace and tranquility. Just perfect for a great break in a lovely part of Wales.

This is an absolutely superb site with all that is needed for 3 weeks of peace and tranquility. Michael and Jackie are just the kindest of people you ever wish to meet and will do anything to make your stay a happy one. The site is close to to the beatiful New Quay ( seen the dolphins in the harbour from the pier several times) where you can have delicious fish and chips watching the beautiful creatures swim around. Its also close to Aberaeron and Cardigan with great shops and restaurants. MIchael has created the most beautiful dog run I have ever seen with nicely shaped curves on the long grass as well as nice short areas that invite you for a stroll or just sit on a bench and admire the beatiful sunsets. Superb! We cant wait to return and spend some more time at this beautiful site and see this marvellous couple again . Thank you Michael and Jackie for all you did for us (the eggs by the way were delicious too!). We will be back very soon. God Bless you both. Lots of love Jose & Michelle ( Inka & Baby) xxxx

A fantastic site with a glorious view and warm and friendly people.

This is the best CL site we have ever stayed on. We were made very welcome by the owners, Mike and Jackie, who gave us a box of freshly laid eggs, levelling blocks and showed us all we needed to know about the site. Each pitch has an electric point and water tap right next to it and the toilet waste isn’t far, but tucked away out of sight. They are keen on recycling, so various bins are provided. The site is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy. The view is stunning of rolling hills and the sea. The dog walking area is lovely and the picnic table an added bonus. Lovely meadow flowers, Kites flying overhead and the sheep and cows in neighbouring fields. Amazing sunsets and clear star filled night skies. There is some occasional road noise, but this is far outweighed by everything else. There are so many beaches to choose from. New Quay beach and harbour is a must. We spent a lovely evening sat on the harbour wall dolphin spotting while eating fish and chips and local ice cream. We were awarded by the arrival of a dolphin just before 8pm, which played in the bay for a couple of minutes. Jackie and Mike came to my rescue on our last morning of our 6 night stay, when I trapped a nerve in my back. Mike took me over to their cottage where Jackie, an orthopaedic nurse, made me a cup of tea, a hot water bottle and painkillers, sending us off on our journey with instructions and a fresh hot water bottle. This site is a little gem for so many reasons, and one we plan to return to again and again……

Suited Our Needs Perfectly

This attractively laid out CL is accessed directly from a B road meaning there is some road noise during the day but we didn't find it intrusive. The hard standing pitches are all 'hedged' giving everyone a degree of privacy. The owners were present when we arrived and were extremely friendly - we even got some eggs. There is virtually no walking from the site but there is a close mown field adjacent to the site which is great for the dogs to have run round in - plenty of interesting paths to follow and a picnic table to sit and enjoy the sunset. Distant sea views when the weather permitted. Ideally placed for visiting the Ceredigion coast and inland spots such at Lampeter. Highly recommended.

Truly amazing CL site!

We stayed here one night during the late May bank holiday thanks to a last minute cancellation from another camper, the 5 pitches are hardstanding but with plenty of grass around too, they're quite large and all have electric hookup and water, as well as shrubs and flowers for added privacy. The most incredible thing was the huge and beautiful dog field, which was very well maintained and a very pleasant place to spend time, also thanks to the picnic table! The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, a real pleasure, we will be back!

Definitely one of the best.

What a lovely CL. Hard standing pitches seperated with shrubs and room for an awning. The added advantage of water on pitch. We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was wet and very windy at times. Mike and Jackie made us more than welcome and we left feeling as if they were old friends. Fluffy their cat visited us at our caravan. There are lovely views from the CL with the sea in the distance. We enjoyed finding the coves and beauty spot in the area. Mike gave us 6 eggs as part of the welcome which were very soon consumed and appreciated. We will definitely be returning and look forward to seeing Mike and Jackie again. B&B. (Northamptonshire)

1st time Motorhomers

Staying on this site is highly recommended as we are 1st time motorhomers and stayed at Glanrhos over the Easter weekend 2021. The owner came to meet us on arrival and couldn't be more accommodating when we explained that we had forgotten some essential provisions. Unfortunately the nearest pub was closed, but pubs at this time were closed due to the pandemic. Perfect for visiting Cardigan Bay peninsula with New Quay 4.6 miles away having plenty of parking. Also accessible to neighbouring places of interest such as Cardigan, Abereron and Aberystwyth. Fantastic views stretching for miles of the countryside and distant sea views. Additionally, sunset views were amazing and we can't speak highly enough of the owners and their hospitality.
