We visited this site in June for the first time, although we've been to the area many times before. The site is easy to find and access is good, Lovely Linda came to greet us soon after we arrived. The pitches are hard standing and the surrounding grass is neatly mown and the bins are regularly emptied. What a bonus to have your own electric hook up and water supply on the pitch. There are views to open fields from the site. This east coast area is so pretty, rolling fields and quaint old fishing villages. Visits to Gardenstown, and Pennan are a must. The roads are narrow and steep so Motorhomers take a bike or walk down. There's a good fish and chip shop with a little restaurant in New Pitsligo. In nearby Banff there's a Tesco and other shops. Aberdonians are lovely welcoming folk, so go and enjoy!
Lovely wee site
Stayed here for three nights, very welcoming owner, water and waste pipes on site very handy. The lower sites drain the waste easily so would recommend these if available. Loads of lovely villages to visit. Highly recommended.
Smashing CL Site !!!
Arrived at the site and it did not take long to get setup. Linda arrived shortly and apologise for not being there to welcome us. Linda gave us all the local information on places to visit and suggested walks. She also supplied us with a information leaflet which is very helpful with all the places to visit.
The site is well placed to visit all the small villages along the coast also it is only a few minutes drive into Banff and Macduff.
If you are coming up to this part of the country it is well worth coming to this CL site.
Absolutely charming CL
We were going to use nearby Britstop but decided to see if we could get a pitch - yes we did and what a hidden gem. All hardstanding (you will need chocks) with water and waste at pitch. Incredibly friendly. Thank you so very much for having us - we will be back.
A very warm welcome
We visited this CL in January 2017 during a period of mild settled weather although it was clear that there had been a substantial amount of snow recently going by the road verges. We received a very warm welcome from Linda who introduced herself, explained the site facilities and gave us a very comprehensive welcome pack, including a motorhome guide leaflet for the area, something we had not seen in many years of motor homing. The CL itself is very well aid out, with fresh and waste water at each pitch as well as electric hook up. A previous visitor had apparently damaged one of the hook ups and an Electrician visited to repair this almost immediately. The CL is on hard standing which is beneficial given the local climate. There is no toilet block or shower facilities. There is a normal toilet emptying point and an area for recycling. The local area has a number of interesting villages to visit as well as the larger towns of Bannf, Macduff and others further afield. There are good opportunities for dog walking nearby. Overall an excellent CL which is a credit to the owners.

A hidden gem
This has to be one of the nicest CL's we have stayed at. A quiet site set in countryside with walks in the surrounding fields. Yes, it is located next to the owners small factory building, which looks like a barn. However, there is no noise and the only contact we had with it was talking to the man working there and he gave us some fresh local rolls, know as butteries to eat! The business makes and repairs prawn trawls and you can see them in action down at the local village, Gardenstown with its pretty harbour and beach. It also has a smashing cafe half way down the hill to the harbour with home made food and cakes. The site itself offers hard standings with fully serviced pitches. The owners have gone one better in supplying each pitch with water and waste pipes and connections. Linda the owner is a mine of local information and most welcoming. There is so much to see and do nearby. Beaches, coves, harbours, castles and pretty villages. We especially enjoyed the National lighthouse museum in Fraserburgh. Golf courses are everywhere and coastal paths to walk. We saw hares in the field beside the site and birds galore. The site has no toilet or shower block or information point, but the serviced pitches and the welcome, not to mention the value for money more than make up. We will most definitely be back.
Great site
Just arrived and what a great site. Hard standings each with water and grey waste.
Booked a couple of days ago and owner was apologetic for not going to be there when we arrived. No problem her brother came down to check all was well and supplied local information. A five star site!
5 * C L
This CL is like a 5* site. All hard standing pitches have own water and waste provided together with hoses as well as EHU and free Wi fi. Michael & Linda being motor home owners have certainly taken the best ideas and incorporated them into their own site.
Friendly Linda arrived to welcome us and provided local information.
The site has stunning views across the countryside and anyone who has never been to this corner of Scotland should give it a try and stay on this C L
Friendliest owner ever!
Stayed in our MH for one night during our tour of Scotland. The other reviewers have said it all, Linda was so friendly - she appeared in her car shortly after our arrival specifically to welcome us & she doesn`t even live on site, an example to all those CL owners that you never see or have to seek out. The only thing missing is a good dog walk from the site, but that is one thing the owners can`t add - everything else is provided, even a bottle of Domestos & 2 rolls of black sacks next to chemical waste point. Setting the standard.

Shh don't tell anyone
I nearly didn't post this review so that I can keep it secret.
Amazing site with fully serviced pitches. Very clean. Linda is really friendly. You won't be disappointed.
The photos don't do it justice.
Don't worry about the windmill nearby. You can't hear it.
